This is a must-see bookstore if you haven't been! Great selection of books, fabulous location with free street parking nearby, and very friendly staff. There's no coffee shop inside, but all you need to do is visit The Marketplace by Arcadia Farms down the street and you are good to go. I went to a Sara Cate book signing here today and it was incredibly well-run as well! I highly recommend this bookstore for all book lovers!

I ordered from their site (6 books in a thriller series, signed by the author), and I couldn’t be happier. They took the time to put mylar covers over the dust jackets of the books, which wasn’t in the description of the item, nor was it expected. May be trivial to some, but I really appreciated the time and effort! I feel like it shows that they care. Things were also packed incredibly well. I cannot wait to visit the store in person very soon!

This is the 3rd book I have bought through Poisoned Pen and I am never disappointed. Love the added touches to my signed books. Thank you for the extras also. Highly recommend buying through them. I know I'll be back for James Rollins next book.

Lovely bookstore that has a wide range of signed books. They have many author events. They also have a wonderful selection of books about the local culture. They also have a section dedicated to Diana Gabaldon. Make sure you stop it while in Scottsdale.

It's a small shop but has a huge reach! Located in Old Town Scottsdale, the @poisonedpenbookstore has so much to offer. Between author signings, virtual events, and book discussions, their calendar is booked almost every day. You can even join one of their many book clubs, and you'll be charged and shipped the monthly book automatically. There are hundreds of signed copies to peruse, or find a new book by an author who is coming soon to the store. This is also the place to pick up any book by famed local author Diana Gabaldon, writer of the Outlander series.

I walked away with a few books on my first visit (and kicking myself for never visiting before). They have a book case with each shelf dedicated to a different employee so that they can share their favorite books. I found the stack that seemed to be my style of books and picked one to buy. I also grabbed a couple of free books that they set out as they can't sell them due to being early reads sent by the authors.

"Your local bookstore, no matter where you live." It's a great tagline, and it really fits. Check out their website or, even better, stop in!

There are so many fun book options. A wide variety of authors. The staff was nice. I wish there were a few extra chairs, but that doesn't diminish from the place or its atmosphere. Enter from the street, nit the parking lot.
