I've been here before, so with the summer temps, it's a nice escape from the heat to visit here, especially with dogs. The views are beautiful, and there are vendors set up on one side of the path. It's a popular spot, but I've never had an issue with parking. It's definitely worth a visit if you have never been.

Was out visiting with some friends from the UK and we came to this popular spot for some photo opts. My friends had never been to this location before so I played the tour guide. Parking is pretty easy, there are bathrooms located pretty close to the main area. The Native American booths are set up nicely and the sellers are pretty friendly.
We were lucky because the yellow flowers were out illuminating the meadows with their glory. The views of the canyon below are very nice and the red rock sandstone below is great. The basalt wall to the left of the overlook is pretty impressive. Nice breeze, saw butterflies, hawks and ravens. Great area for a break from driving. I highly recommend.

Wow, just wow. Driving from the grand canyon to Sedona via Flagstaff. One of the most beautiful drives I have ever taken. Stunning. Make sure your brakes work.

"We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open."

The greenest part of Sedona! ? The view from Oak Creek Vista reminds me of home. Known as the "Gateway to Sedona", this overlook has to be anyone's 1st stop.

We always stop here on our way to Sedona.

The views aof the canyons are amazing and worth a selfie at the end of the sidewalk where you can see for miles.

The Native American booths have some beautiful items you can purchase.

Public pit restrooms are next to the parking lot.

Parking can be hard to find but worth the wait.

The view is lacking. But it is pretty. There were many booths with people selling jewelry. When we were there people had their cars broken into.

Beautiful place, especially with the abundance of snow when we visited Flagstaff in early February 2023. Nice selection of Native American jewelry!
