For a short-term stay, this was a perfect fit for me! One week turned into a few months. I believe this speaks to the excellent customer service and comfort I experienced here. The room was a good size (but I have stayed in more modern Hyatt rooms): There was a stocked kitchen (including a stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, utensils, plates, etc.), living room, and large work desk. I enjoyed walking daily in the nearby trail; although, there was also a gym, a pool, and a basketball court. The free breakfast every morning was great! I was very happy with my entire stay - kudos to the the entire staff! Thank you all so very much!

I doubt you can find a better value, friendlier and helpful staff, and better location when visiting the Bay Area. The standard one bedroom suite is spacious, the beds are comfortable, and it has a full kitchen. The manager Micheal and assistant manager Keltoum are great, as is their staff. They have created a work environment where it seems everyone is happy and trying to make sure all the guests enjoy their stay. It is located about halfway between the south bay and San Francisco, an easy ride to Hayward and the east bay, and not far from the ocean and Half Moon Bay.

Great location, but unfortunately the hotel has gown downhill over the years. Sofa mattress was unusable, my son hard to sleep on the sofa cushions on the floor. Included breakfast no longer includes eggs to order nor cut up fresh fruit. Tried the eat the waffle and ham and it was so bad we left and went someone else for breakfast. Only two types of tea offered, earl grey and camomille. No scrub brush for the pan in the rooms. I guess they just keep trying to cut costs.

I recently (tried to) stay at the Hyatt House in Belmont, California, and it ended up being one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. When I got to the lobby, it looked ok— updated in the past 5-ish years and modern. But that's where the positives stopped.||||Checking in took forever, and when I finally got to the front, the receptionist handed me my key with barely a word. No smile, no welcome, nothing. I've stayed at a lot of Hyatts, and that kind of service is not what I'm used to.||||When I got to my room, I found out they didn't have the crib I had specifically requested for my 2-year-old daughter. No one bothered to let me know in advance. I called the front desk, and they just said, "Someone was supposed to call you this morning." No apology at all. If they had, I could have brought a portable crib from home.||||Then I started noticing other issues. The bathroom had hair on the walls. The carpet was torn and stained, and there were red marks by the entryway. Clearly, whoever cleaned the room did not do a good job, and it made me wonder what else hadn't been properly cleaned. When I called about the crib, I also mentioned these issues, and the front desk promised someone would come by. No one ever did (in an hour or so, we actually stayed in the room).||||With no help from the staff at the hotel, I called the Hyatt Rewards 800 number to see if they could do something. After explaining the situation to a rep, I got connected to a supervisor. She reached out to the hotel directly, but the front desk pushed back on everything. It took almost an hour, but she managed to get my points transferred (this was an award booking) to the Hyatt House in Cupertino. It was about 25 minutes away, but at that point, I was willing to drive to get out of this hotel.||||The Cupertino location was night and day compared to Belmont. Clean, friendly, and they had a crib waiting for us when we checked in. I left a review for this experience, and there was a huge difference in every way.||||Overall, I would avoid Hyatt House Belmont. Poor service, dirty rooms, and a staff that doesn't seem to care at all. Skip this place and save yourself the hassle.

Good location, close to major roads, large on site car park, clean, spacious well equipped suite with two en-suite bathrooms and full equipped kitchen.||Breakfast was nice and well managed, with plenty of food available.||Plenty of on site facilities, pool, gym, terrace and bar. Staff were friendly and helpful.||Only complaint was lack of facilities for eating in evening.||Close to Cal-Train and about mile from shops and restaurants.||Would def stay again and is a good base to explore San Francisco.

We’ve stayed here numerous times over the past years when visiting family in the Bay Area. This is a great location near the Oracle campus with a lot of walking trails. The rooms are spacious, have comfy beds, a separate living area and small kitchens. Some of the furnishings are getting worn and the TV’s are fairly out of date. We have had some nice rooms looking out on the lagoon or back parking lot w reasonable views. This past stay we were in a room across from the dumpster so unattractive and nosy at 7AM when they picked up trash. A plus is the free breakfast buffet and the workout room and pool if weather is nice. It can get pretty noisy on weekends when families come to stay and/or host group gatherings. Overall a good place to stay but room location can make a difference in quality of stay.

Comfortable and spacious room, beautiful campus, great amenities. Isolated a bit if you’re a traveler not doing business with Oracle or the other large adjacent businesses. Over a mile to restaurants, groceries, other retail. Cal-Train station is a mile away as well. Walking there, we found sidewalks in terrible shape, sketchy, druggy people hanging around the station. Would def think twice about leaving the Hyatt House campus at night, on foot. Bring groceries, use the full kitchen and fridge, and you’d be set for a very comfortable stay.

Stayed in Hyatt Redwood Belmont for 5 nights on a business trip. This is an apartment room stay. Ideal for couples and families . There is a living room with an attached kitchen area with all the basic kitchen amenities like microwave, utensils, dishwasher etc. Then there is a separate bedroom with a small closet and bathroom area. Quite okay for a stay. Redwood is about 10 miles from SFO airport and 20 miles to SFO downtown. If one has not taken a rental car then Uber is the only option but will add to commute time. The place has a common breakfast/ dining area as well. The Hotel location is quite nice slightly away from the hustle.
