SpringHill Suites Belmont Redwood Shores

I had a wonderful stay at SpringHill Suites Belmont Redwood Shores! The hotel was exceptionally clean and conveniently close to work, making my trip seamless. I joined the loyalty program during my stay, won some extra points, and enjoyed the tasty breakfast each morning. The bed was super comfy, and both my colleagues and spouse were treated with genuine care and hospitality by the staff. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely be staying here again when I’m back in the area!

Having just stayed at one of Marriott’s Luxury Collection (the Whitley) in Atlanta, it’s of course not fair to expect the same level of service and comfort at this Springhill Suites, a more Low budget level property. We chose it because it is close to a medical facility I am having a procedure at. The bed was just OK; lumpy pillows. The TV is not high quality (we were watching the World Series). The area with a couch was nice but a bit too deep for us little|people. It was reasonably quiet.|The thing that riled me was the $20 daily parking charge. They are in an industrial park, so there was tons of parking around. It seemed very much a junk fee to me. He did say they lease the land so have to charge for parking. Just put it in the rates!! The hotel is not walkable to anything so you have to have a car. It’s in tiny, tiny print on their website. Nothing was on my confirmation. Shame on them!!

The front desk made check in pleasant and seamless! Rosalie was excellent. Mitch in the lobby lounge/bar area is knowledgeable about the menu and the area. Overall consistent excellent customer service at this property each time I have stayed here

Very pleasant staff, 30-40 minutes by car to San Francisco Fishermans wharf, rich breakfast (oat porridge, fresh waffles, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausages, coffe, tea), free of charge gym, free of charge heated outdoor pool.|Very spacious rooms (we were two adults and three teenagers), even walk-in wardrobe was in the room.|Fridge, microwave, coffe machine - all you need for short stay.|Parking costs 20 usd/night. But you may park 50 minutes outside of hotel parking lot and it is free.|Very quiet and save location.|Few minutes by car you will find petrol station, cozy restaurants, pizzeria.

The room was nice and clean! but the way it is designed is very weird! bathroom in front of the bed and TV completely off place. we had to ask for the shampoo and a blanket because there were none in the room. Breakfast for the price was awful! nothing to eat really! When I compared it to cheaper motels.

I have to give credit where it’s due first; Pretty good management. They took care of us and made sure we were taken care of. Unfortunately, there’s one big problem that warranted two stars…probably should be one star. Our first room had bed bugs…we found a few live ones crawling on the bed and pull out couch/bed. Then, we ripped the headboards off and there were dozens of dead ones and a few live ones. They switched our room, and they washed/dry cleaned all of our clothes and bags. The breakfast isn’t that great. You don’t have many options, and beyond that, when it’s time (or close to time) for breakfast to end? They are VERY punctual. They start taking things up way before breakfast ends. If you ask for something they already carried off, it’s “sorry, there isn’t any. Breakfast is over.” A lot of the staff of the hotel didn’t care much, although, you do notice a few who do care. Unfortunately, it’s ruined by the ones who don’t. Our new room was fine. We checked everywhere, but upon sliding the couch away from the wall we noticed they absolutely do not clean behind the couches. ?‍♂️ It’s an option for the area, but see if you maybe can afford a different suggestion first.

Mixed review. Great location, rooms are spacious and clean. However... Know that the rooms can be very noisy. On our first night, the room next to us had a lot of people being extremely loud. We had been traveling all day and asked the front desk to change rooms as I didn't want to be a bah humbug to the persons party but the front desk said they didn't have any rooms. Ok, it was still around 9 pm, so maybe they'd quiet down by sleep time. Nope! 12:40 am and they were still being extremely loud. I called the front desk....they offered to switch rooms - part of my party was asleep so that wasn't an option. Front desk said, "oh". I asked what quiet hours were and the front desk said, I don't know and didn't say they would do anything about the noise. I just left it alone after that as i wasn't going to bother the people having the party. After another hour or so, the party quieted down on their own. Great, fell asleep. 7:30 am, woke up too the wonderful sound of the party goers next door throwing up and then getting loud again. The second night, we heard people making loud whoopee in their room from the hallway. Good for them but again poor sound insulation. After that, it got quieter (minus the person above us constantly banging the floor) but just be aware that it could be loud. Shower pressure is terrible. If you get a quiet room, I'm sure it will be a pleasant to stay but if you are sensitive to noise, you may want to stay somewhere else.

Our stay was during the global IT outage so the systems were down upon arrival. Despite the chaos, all staff were so sweet. They handled everything in a very professional manner. Rooms are comfy and spacious. Property is clean. New fav hotel in the Bay! ☺️
