This market is so unique for this area. We found some local chocolate bars and jams and ordered an organic Chai latte.

Took a chance driving through downtown Clarksville and i saw the sign for coffee. Well, we were not disappointed. The coffee was good, the bagels were spectacular. The baked goods looked to good to pass up, so I didn't. Will definitely be adding this to the list of places to stop when we are this way again

My husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary at The Mercantile at Prestonrose From the moment we walked in Mike Preston the owner, welcomed as with open arms and warmth that set the tone for the entire evening. His outgoing friendly demeanor, paired with his wealth of knowledge about the restaurant and offerings, made our experience truly unforgettable. What sets The Mercantile apart is the commitment to quality and sustainability. Liz Preston brews the beers served at the restaurant; they take pride in growing their own organic vegetables, and their dedication to fresh, locally sourced ingredients shines through in every dish on their unique menu. The food was not just delicious, it was a culinary masterpiece that I left that left us craving more.
The atmosphere of The Mercantile at Prestonrose is nothing short of perfect. The industrial look of the building has a touch of urban charm, creating a trendy yet cozy ambiance ideal for a memorable dining experience. It's evident that every detail, from the decor to the lighting, has been thoughtfully created to enhance the overall dining atmosphere. As I savored a bite of my meal, I couldn't help but think about the restaurant's legacy. The previous owner of the building, Hammer, would undoubtedly be proud of what Preston’s have done with his old place. It's heartwarming to see even they named a beer after him a fitting tribute to honor him. The service was impeccable. It's rare to find such exceptional service that goes above and beyond, and it is a testament to the dedication and passion that Preston has at The Mercantile at Prestonrose! Our visit was nothing short of extraordinary, with the ambition of outstanding food, tasty beer, and a charming atmosphere.

Delicious food, unique decor to honor the previous business. Great staff, loved the owner. I bought plenty of stuff in the little shop in front too. Call n make a reservation, you won't be disappointed! I posted some pics of the restaurant when it was empty (before a party) and some of the shop out front, they are connected.

The Mercantile is so much more than I could have imagined! To find this gem in a small Arkansas town is a treat!

We tried a little bit of everything! Their everything chili crisp bagel is to die for! Add the black garlic cream cheese and you're in heaven! The bagel dog was delicious and the homemade mustard is a little spicy and tangy! The ice cream was delicious and the coffee was made with serious skill! They know what they're doing!

We got to meet the owners who were busy around the shop. They were so warm, welcoming, and helpful! The shop really highlights local sellers and small businesses! They have environmentally friendly soaps and cleaning products along with organic food and dog treats. They sell fresh meat and produce from local farmers and they have the best selection of vegan charcuterie meats and specialty cheeses I have ever come across!

The employees working were more than helpful and actually enthusiastic about the products they were selling. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that all the cups, lids, straws, etc. were biodegradable! Bonus, they also had a large selection of non alcoholic spirits!

I LOVE this place!
