This library has been very much the same for many years but got the restrooms remodeled a few years ago, along with a few other details, but I hope they can fix some it some more where it needs to be patched up. I love the view through the back windows and the Friends of the Library bookstore! Don't miss their book sales, they're great!! There is only one study room at this location, but there are plenty of tables to sit at usually.

I recommend visiting this library. Staff is kind and helpful. There's computers, multiple places to charge phones, good selection of books, and a quiet atmosphere.

There's a Filipino exhibit in the library I really liked. There's a letter to a POW welcoming them back home, and it turned out that it was written by Harry Truman. It genuinely excited me to see this piece of history.

It's been 30 years since I came here. It has changed throughout the years. It's clean but quieter and less crowded than before. I saw a few homeless people inside. No security in sight. I was there for a few hours studying and felt relaxed and safe. Plenty of parking and Wifi is FREE and fast.

Great location with plenty of computers and study space. The building is clean and full of resources. Passport appointments kiosk, free K-12 lunches on the patio, wifi/cafe seating. The staff is very helpful and has a great study environment. Very beautiful scenery and park in the rear.

The information on government website says that this passport office accepts walk-ins, but when I walked in the lady at the desk said they are by appointments only. I mentioned to her that even their sign at the office says that they have walk-in services. Her answer was then: we should change that then. And I asked her if I can make an appointment for next Friday, she said she can not do that. One can make an appointment only for next day at 4:45 pm. She sent me to library clerk to "make an appointment", who couldn't help me either.
No need to mention, that I did not any services, even though it was around noon and there was nobody after me.
Misinforming your customers is equal to lying and humiliating dignity of others.

Efficiently received a library card, was directed to the large print section, got some books, checkout was super quick. Overall, a great experience.

My daughter's and I went to your libary at 365 F St, Chula Vista, CA 91910. On date:August 17th around 0600pm. First thing we saw when walking into the kids section was homeless right outside the window lighting there pipes up with a tourch and smoken meth literally right in front of the kid section. very visible I personally went up to them and ask them to please move that kids are right there watching them. they refused so I spoke to the staff who were very nice and went outside to tell them but I doubt they listened as well. when I was leaving my daughter wanted to use the kids restroom when entering the kids not the adults restroom but the kids female restroom there was a Trans methed out homeless man/lady in there using it. This libary is nice but the homeless are getting out of control. with no one telling them to stop. They are taking advantage of this libary and walking all over the staff and no one seems to speak up. This will be the last time I use this libary. Especially the kids section if this is acceptable or just turned a blind eye too. I hope you can help with my frustration. This is going to effect the kids in the long run if the libary is a unsafe place for kids and families.
