Otay Books

I had 3 Administration of justice books that are very expensive as many know who are majoring in criminal justice. I brought them to this store and the man said they were worthless. They were not highlighted in, nor in bad condition. I went to the bookstore at SWC and they bought them back for 3/4 of what I paid in the first place. They try to scam you here and it is ridiculous. Amazon is cheaper.

Bait and switch , called on phone was quoted the price of 12.99 for used book , drove there and was told used book is $39.99 . Told employee I was told on phone book was 12.99, and that book was one edition later than the current 6th edition guy said ok how about 19.99 . I said no walked out guy followed me to parking lot and said ok 12.99 . Out of principle i drove across street to swc campus book store and paid full price for bew current edition . Will not attempt to do business with these scammers again. Complete bait and switch . Avoid at all cost

The lady that works there was rude to me on the phone and completely cut me off in the middle of a question. I bring two textbooks in, I got $8 for one an $3 for another. The younger guy there was also rude and the customer service was bad. I'd recommend going elsewhere to buy or sell books. They lost my bsuiness.

This is a long time coming review. I'm afraid the times that I have been here the store is not always open at the times posted. The return on books is below average. You would be better off renting books elsewhere or just hit up Amazon or Abe Books or anyone of the gazillion text-books resellers online.....Jay

I was waiting infront of the bookstore for more than 20 minutes and they're not opening. They even not put any signs if they'll be closing or any problem to let customers know. I was there to buy book that I need for school. It's terrible.

Foreigners believe they are at their homeland. No all books are sold at this location. Employees seem reasonable at some point. Books are cheaper than in SWC bookstore.

The man was very helpful and engaging. He helped me find the book I was looking for, which I couldn’t find any where else. Great service and help me get what was out of stock at school.

Convenient place to buy books for college. I bought "Communication Matters" for 29 bucks. Pretty good price for immediate pick up.
