Front Desk staff very friendly and efficient.
The restaurant meals and service were good.
Room was clean and nicely located with a view of the river as well as a small balcony.
The Spa staff are friendly and my massage was excellent. I highly recommmend Martha. She is very good at her job. I also recommend arriving early so you can relax in their lounge area and have a cup of tea or a glass of water.

Most employees are nice and friendly and have never been a problem. Unlike most casinos they close at 2am, but they tell you ten minutes before sometimes fifteen to twenty minutes before 2am they’re closing and to end machine play. You’re able to cash out tickets outside of the casino rooms in the lobby. I understand wanting to get things done and ready for closing but I’ve worked multiple places where if we were to ever try and say “cash out now” or leave the restaurant, etc. wherever you work even five minutes before closing time I would’ve been written up or fired for it. In that case change the time you close to 1:45 am. That’s understandable. But having employees go around and demand you to cash out 5-15 minutes earlier than closing time so they can get out of there quicker is a little rude and disrespectful. Closing time says 2am, I should be able to cash out from a machine at 1:55-1:57 and walk out the door and cash my ticket out in the lobby.

Horrible experience! Husband made reservations for my birthday. 1. Supposed to be a river view..sent us to the furthest room away and our view was a wall! 2. Put us in a different room, nearly as far from the restaurant/casino you could get...barely a river view. On the 4th floor with NO elevator except at the opposite end of hall! 3. Overcharged us as to what wad advertised. Totally ruined my birthday!

Great rooms next to the Kootenai river with wonderful views of the river and mountains. Rooms have real glassware. All guests receive a complimentary breakfast served in the dining room. One of the best we have had which included great bacon or ham, eggs cooked as you want them, hashbrowns, toast with juice or coffee, served by a waiter. Outstanding.

Great Staff, Great Food and Great location. The Kootenai River Inn at Bonners Ferry is so relaxing. Their Spa is well staffed and proficient. The Riverside rooms have beautiful views of the Kootenai River! The Springs restaurant has excellent food. They have always had consistently great service over the years. We had a wonderful time in Bonners Ferry, Idaho! This Kootenai River hotel has excellent staff that cater to all your needs! We were lucky enough to receive an offer that almost made up for our VERY poor exchange rate of the Canadian dollar. The Springs restaurant is a definite “must” for your dining pleasure!!

First, I had a "view" room that did NOT include a view of concrete, rooftops...just beautiful river, geese, fish rising, birds and nature. Awesome!

This was not my first stay, nor will it be my last. The staff is excellent! Friendly, engaging...I feel like when I'm in this hotel, seeing these people are an important part of the visit!

Go to Bonners Ferry! Much to do and to see and the casino is fun too! But always stay HERE!

Check-in by Heidi was very nice!|We were in room 238, which was very clean and huge; I opted not to book a river view room (too bad, because the Northern Lights were spectacular); we had a desk, table with two chairs, a bench for luggage, a chair and a side table; the sink is outside the shower/toilet, which was very nice. The room had plenty out outlets, all amenities, including make-up remover and shower cap; we found the A/C to be loud and it didn't cool enough. The doors are extremely heavy and the ice cubes were lousy; we were delighted to see real coffee mugs and real glasses in the room (I very much dislike the plastic stuff).|The included breakfast was wonderful; great service, yummy food and view of the river.
