Losing local business. I purchased a pair of earrings here for my wife here prior to Christmas. All the associates were kind and helpful that day. They weren’t quite right for her so we went to exchange them 2-1/2 weeks after Christmas. We were told that the return policy allows for returns and exchanges within 2 weeks of Christmas. I commented that that was only 2 days ago and was promptly corrected that it was 3. As if that makes a difference. That seems like a very small window for people with full time jobs and other obligations. My wife asked if they could make an exception and promptly received a very curt “No.” The associate we were hoping would help us merely pointed out their return policy a few times while not displaying any interest in extending any kind of actual customer service. Possibly because she doesn’t actually understand that. While she successfully secured the money from the original purchase, she also ensured that they won’t get any further business from locals that live and shop in Golden.

My mom and I had an amazing shopping experience! We stopped in on our way to a show at Miner’s Alley and we both bought hats thanks to the superior customer service by Nicole!!! She was very kind and helped my mom get fitted for the right hat. We love this store and Nicole made it a fun experience! We will be back every time we go to a show.

Great selection of jewelry, artwork, bags and things for kids. They were so welcoming to my young son and me and brought us right back to their sand box. It was hard getting my son to leave! Such a nice feature because it allowed me to take my time looking around. They did a lovely job wrapping the gifts I purchased.

Great place with great selection. I’ve lived in golden for 20 years and am a very proud local. I had never stopped in baby doe’s before, but the staff were all very kind and nice to me. They even helped me get some really nice Kavu Fleece overalls, because they don’t accept returns I wanted to make sure they fit well, so I was very thorough and they are now the most comfortable things I own now. 10/10 would go back again

Sometimes you aren't exactly sure what you want but you know that you will know it when you find it. These ladies helped me find the perfect outfit. They were very attentive, bringing me clothing to my fitting room, accepting feed back on what worked and what didn't until I was over joyed with an outfit. I don't much care for clothes shopping but the experience was so pleasant and the clothes so lovely that the whole experience was fun. I will definitely return.

I have been looking for a unique soft brown leather purse for several months now. My friend and I were walking along Washington Street in Golden CO and spotted the cutest purse ever in Baby Doe's window. Well, that purse was totally made for me, and I purchased it there and then. Love it! Then we started shopping this great boutique and found so! many! cute clothes and accessories! Beautiful sweaters and tops. Unique designs and beautiful color patterns. As a local, I used to frequent this store. Then I made a purchase and asked to return and was refused flat-out even though the price tag was still on the item. I was even refused store credit. I will never purchase from them again.
