Th public spaces that have been renovated are beautiful and I am quite sure the entire hotel will once again be magnificent. The room we had was spotless, with antique furniture, a new mattress and configured for our needs. The rooms still need a little work, new windows, etc. the bathrooms will always be a bit small. For a vintage hotel this is lovely

Location is great. Food was awful. They asked at the end of my stay because I booked through Hotels.com they couldn’t do anything. Lights in the hall keep you up. Blood stain towels. Food was awful. Couldn’t event poach eggs or cook a steak right for breakfast. All they offer is a voucher to come back…why would I ever come back if you can’t do it right the first time. Staff was arguing and bickering in front of me as a guest. The lady in the coffee shop was consistently rude and combative with the lady from the restaurant. If it wasn’t for location and history it would already be shut down I am sure.

Wow, what an awful experience. I was so disappointed with our stay, as we had only heard great things about this hotel. We showed up after a long drive, excited to relax and have a night away, as my mental health has been horrible lately. We get into our room and there is wet vomit on the floor that my partner stepped in. There was chunks in it and it was obvious they put us in an uncleaned room. There was hair in the shower, and wet vomit all over the floor. I genuinely don’t understand how it was missed by cleaning crews. The attendant that worked Friday night only offered us a 50% discount and asked if we wanted a new room. Like clearly, we NEEDED a new room. He seemed so unconcerned and didn’t react at all when we told him about the vomit. And a 50% discount felt like a slap in the face after what we walked into. We were so tired at this point and just wanted to relax, so we took the keys for the new room. We go up, excited to finally crawl into bed (it’s almost 11pm at this point) and the keys didn’t work. My partner goes back down to ask for another set, and that set doesn’t work. We finally had maintenance come and open the door for us. The next morning, our keys still weren’t working for the room. We went back down and spoke to Shelby, who I will say, I felt was the only person who seemed to care about our experience and how awful it was. She offered us a full refund and was so incredibly nice and took the time to listen and actually help us with the situation. I will say, the room we got put in after, was really clean and really nice. If we had, had a different experience coming here, we would’ve raved about this place, and definitely come back. But I am so turned off and disgusted by this hotel, that unfortunately I will never return and I will be telling people about my experience. It was absolutely unacceptable to walk into someone else’s vomit, while we’re on a vacation that was supposed to be for my mental health. I’m grateful for the full refund and for Shelby, but wow what an experience. So disgusting and icky.

Beautiful old Hotel. After 3 tries for a room with A/C we upgraded to the Bell Tower Suite. My husband has 35% lung function and cannot breathe or sleep well in a warm room. The Bell Tower was nice! Great views! The Hotel really needs some good help. The one bartender was very slow, the housekeeping staff was lacking and we finally found a bellman to help with loading the day we left. After I climbed the stairs and walked every floor searching for a cart, asking the front desk (absolutely no help), we found a very helpful young man to help load our vehicle. He was not happy that the front desk did not call him to begin with. All in all our stay was enjoyable. The room was comfortable and as I mentioned, the views were phenomenal! Our breakfast waitress was very nice and took good care of us too. The Hotel has great potential, it definitely needs better management.

Beautiful old building that has a ton of character. It's right across from the hot pools and the sky walk. The rooms are bigger than modern hotels which is nice. The walls and doors are thin so you can hear everything in the hallway. For some reason the darn radiators make a huge amount of noise. Not the typical popping noises as metal heats up but constant banging. We could not figure out what was going on. Super hard to regulate the temp in the rooms as well. We had the window wide open in the winter to try and cool down the room. The restaurant downstairs was over priced and the portions were skimpy.

Great hotel with great service. Stayed there for a night amd was upgraded to one of the only two balcony suites for no charge, was able to bring my cats and they loved the room. Bed was super comfy. View of the hot springs from the balcony. Room service was excellent. They accommodated a late checkout for us. Will definitely come here again! ✌️

I have been coming to this beautiful place since before I was born, and just tied the knot here this past week. The banquet team led by Sam rolled with every punch, handled everything with grace and kindness and professionalism, and made our day absolutely perfect and unforgettable. Truly, due to their event manager Alta Otto and their amazing team, our day was everything we ever hoped for. Alta made everything come together and happen, all with a smile and incredible vibe despite the stress of the day. Thank you to all of you for this unforgettable experience. This hotel has always felt like family, and you all made us feel that through and through. Our folks have spent the last 50 years coming here, and we can't wait to spend the next 50.

Everything at this hotel was just perfection. Our stay was in December so the decor was exceptional. All the little extras were great, from the free shuttle in town to the robes we could use at the hot springs. Shout out to Thomas & Dane for going above and beyond. We come to glenwood several times a year and will definitely be staying here!!
