I'm a semi-beginner crocheter and stopped by today since i just found out this shop existed and needed some yarn to make daisies. I felt very welcomed by the shop owner, Cassandra. she helped me with yarn weight and what would work for my hook size/project. Very nice atmosphere, I will definitely be back later, 10/10 🌼

This shop is a special experience, like visiting a magic shop. Great for gifts or travel souvenirs. Make sure to go and check out the local yarn selection. There's more to look at than you'll see at a first glance, so take your time. Great sale options, fun mini-skein remnants, and a whole selection of vintage jewelry & bags. The taste level is high!

HIDDEN GEM! 💎 Wonderful little locally owned yarn store with an added bonus of also selling great quality vintage handbags at great prices. The yarn selection is carefully curated and featured recycled synthetic yarns and locally dyed natural fiber yarns. Small selection of needles and hooks too in case you need it. The owner is super sweet and was a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend making the trip downtown to this little boutique.

This spot is tucked away on the 4th floor of an office building just a few blocks from the Curtis Doubletree and business-y district. I was in town for a conference at that funky hotel and had NO time for anything vacation-y like sight seeing. Of course, I squeezed in a yarn shop visit since this was walking distance from my hotel and I had an afternoon flight home. When I rocked up with my suitcase and big fluffy coat, I was greeted by the owner and welcomed in with a spot to hang my coat. She gave me a tour of the small shop and told me where to find prices. She was also running a special on some yarns. I felt like I spent the whole morning with a new friend but it was actually only about 25 minutes of me asking for a local wool souvenir. After I made my purchases, I got a couple freebies since I spent a few dollars and the proprietor was SO lovely to pack up my yarn in a plastic zip lock bag to protect it for my suitcase. I packed it up and she gave me directions to the train station so I didn’t have to walk so far. It’s not too bad of a walk if you’re a city gal but it’s much nicer to take transit if you’re lugging a suitcase to the train station in a bid for the airport.

If I ever get back to Denver, I’ll be visiting again for sure! The stock is small but really lovely and I think most knitters and crocheters will find something they’d enjoy. I was planning to buy one little souvenir skein and wound up purchasing enough for two projects! I love what I bought and can’t wait to knit them up. If you’re not sure where exactly to enter the shop, there’s a Jamba Juice right next door to the office building and the shop is listed on the lobby directory when you walk in. I wasn’t expecting it to be upstairs initially because I hadn’t seen that tid bit of info before traipsing down the street hunting it.

What a lovely gem in Denver! Yarn Shoppe was a little tricky to find, but it was worth the search. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and she has a lovely selection of local yarns and other goods! I'm so glad I made a stop while in the area 🙂
