Since I have never been to a Woodcraft, I stopped in here with my wife to purchase a router lift they had instock.

I wanted to give the store a good once over before I committed to them.

The staff was super friendly, there was a bowl turning class going on, their wood selection was amazing, the store was well organized, clean, and items were easy to reach and find.

I haven't fully defected from Rockler yet...that being said, I gave Woodcraft a healthy amount of my money that day and signed up for their distribution. I dont make it to Loveland very often, but when I do, I will always stop there.

I checked the online price for General Finish 8oz gel stain shows $20.99. I Went to the Loveland store and they charged 24.98. WHYis it more in the store. I needed more and went to JAX THEIR PRICE WAS $14.99. TEN DOLLARS LESS FOR 8OZ. AND THEY WERE SELLING A 16OZ CAN FOR 22.98

Love this store and spend thousands of dollars there each year. Hate to give a bad review but i feel like people (owners) would appreciate the feedback. First off I'd like to say I'm probably one of the few younger folk that I ever see at the store and generally am looked at like I'm there to rob the place. Today I spent about 30 min sorting through the cherry lumber rack picking out around $400 worth of cherry and when I asked Terry for a ticket to pay for it, he hesitated and asked me if i actually wanted to buy it. Like i was sorting through an entire pallet of lumber for fun or something. When it came time to pay for the lumber and another $200 worth of merchandise Terry rang me up and didnt even have the decency to say thank you. I love woodcraft but am starting to not like this location. I don't usually write reviews unless I'm absolutely compelled. This situation is beyond my comprehension why anyone would have such an employee representing a business let alone woodworking and woodcraft.

Update: My original review above is from 4 years ago. Absolutely nothing has changed

The team at woodcraft is always friendly and fun. If your interested in trying something new in woodworking they have it know about it or can order it. I will say it’s like shopping at McGuckins in Boulder they have it if your willing to pay for it. My dad always said knowledge is worth a lot and the internet can only explain so much. That friendly person at a place like Woodcraft could help you so much more than some impersonal chat. With that said go out and give them some business they are a true home town team.
