I transport items all over the country trying new places to eat and stay. Great location, very clean, quite. I like all the historical pics on the wall. I wish the restaurant was open ( was excited to try ) the times it says they would be open were not and I ended up eating gas station food.

Love Palisade, CO and this is a convenient place to stay--a bit overrated as it's not as quaint as pictures depict (it's right off the interstate). Rooms are clean and spacious; service is subpar at front desk--woman was unwilling to adhere to the same price I booked room for online--beware. Pets allowed for an additional fee, just keep in mind that there isn't a whole lot of ground space to walk them. All in all, place felt like a tourist trap but definitely a better stay than your standard "Holiday Inn" options.

Great service and the best complimentary breakfast you will find. The morning chef seems to pride himself in creating new treats such as scratch cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing one day and bread pudding the next. Staff are attentive and the hot tub was in good working order (a rarity at chain hotels) and was truly hot.

I’ve been there often and though my reason for staying so often has ended, I will return because of the staff, location, and overall experience. My latest: my daughter’s moving truck which I was driving was ready to go early, on a Monday morning allowing us to leave a day early. I checked out mid-day, fully expecting to pay for the room (two rooms actually- my brother was also a driver) through Tuesday. I paid, but when I asked in an email a week later, they actually refunded the two room charge. They did not have to do this; any other place I’ve stayed would never have. But there you go - another reason to stay St the local family owned Wine Country Inn in Palisade!

We stayed 1 night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We ate in the Tapestry Lounge and that was fine. Enjoyed testing the Colorado wine.|We chose this hotel over the Grand Junction Hotels as we wanted something unique and this fit the bill.

We stayed for two nights while skiing at Powderhorn in early December and everything was great. The room was nice with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with omelets made to order. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was excellent.

Absolutely stunning location right in amidst their own vineyards with view of the gorge walls around. The Inn itself is relatively small but has very luxurious accommodations with a neatly kept pool, clubhouse, outdoor gazebo, outdoor seating, conference rooms and a well maintained kitchen and bar area. Breakfast always had a variety of options and daily wine tastings were superb. Front office and maintenance staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Wedding coordinator Vicki was absolutely on top of everything and the event staff were incredible. Gym was a bit small. Tons of bars and winery's and produce shops in walking distance. Absolutely worth staying at.

Pros: The service/staff were excellent. Breakfast was good. We had their Palisade peach pancake casserole one morning. Fantastic!

Wine tasting was a nice touch as well.
They also gave us a coupon for a free dessert for our anniversary, but neither dining room's menu appealed to us.

The grounds were pretty, and being surrounded by the grape vines was pretty cool too.

Con: The bed is VERY firm. It was really hard on my hips and back. The front desk staff did give me two comforters that I doubled over, and that helped a lot.
