It’s a shame the owner treats folks so poorly because the actual store is lovely and the inventory is impressive.

I looked through the extensive comic books and board game selections for 30mins without finding what I was looking for, and then waited for another 15mins for the owner to finish working with another customer to make sure I haven’t missed the items I was in search of. Once the owner had finished up he approached me rather aggressively and told me ‘I had been there long enough and it was time for me to leave’. He wasn’t interested in answering my questions, said he had never heard of the comic I was looking for, and that I should just use Google if I wanted board game recommendations. He reiterated he was busy (I was the only one in the store at this time), so I promptly left empty handed feeling pretty gross/bummed.

The whole experience reminded me of the severe nerd culture gatekeeping prior to the mid 2000s.

Dude is cool, plenty comics , figures, although I'm more of a comic buff there's magic and Pokemon cards plenty other things. one of the bigger selections of the comic shops I've visited. Cool sign up program gets you newer comics 20 % off or something and then there's a sale on the older comics every once in a while half off or some, pretty good

fantastic selection of MTG and GW, player community is not too well established and the few times I've gone for games it's been less than stellar. Facilities for play are below average, folding tables and chairs, nothing special. Great owner, knowledgeable, fantastic prices.

When it comes to Warhammer, Van's is unmatched in selection and pricing. I drive an hour and a half past a dozen other stores to come here.

I've been to this shop twice now and both times were a real treat. They have one of the best selections of TPBs of any shop in Colorado, especially for omnis. The shop owner is talkative and helpful; he's chatted me up both times I was there. Really phenomenal selection.
