Took the fly fishing 101 class here, it was awesome! The staff reviewed all the basics with me and my wife during the class and set me up well with gear to fish on my own! Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to pick up gear, or lean how to fly fish!

I’m a novice angler and going to fly shops always stresses me out because I’m afraid of looking stupid or not being taken seriously. But the TRR shop in Ashton has never made me feel judged and has always made me feel welcomed. I always leave thinking “wow, that wasn’t bad at all. That was actually kind of nice.” Very grateful for the constant kindness and patience!

Both our guides, Mike and Riley, were awesome! They took us to two beautiful rivers and helped us learn all the basics of fly fishing. We had no experience going in and our guides made it an AMAZING experience! Can't wait to come back next year!!

Mike was hilarious and super knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, etc

Riley was considerate and extremely helpful on improving our casting technique.

I think October was a great time to go. It was cold (28F) when we started at 8AM, but with the sun it warmed up nicely ❤️

Our guide, Mark was great! Very knowledgeable and patient. We explained that we don’t fly fish often and he spent some time helping us with our casting. Wow, casting lessons I won’t forget. The Henery’s Fork was high and off color but we still caught fish. I was missing a brown trout to complete my bucket list of catching all of the northwest trout. Got it! My wife had never caught a fish on a fly, done! Great experience

Great shop, great guides. Very helpful in the shop. We booked a last minute float trip that was first class. The guide trip price included flies, so if you are comparing prices figure this saves you $30++. I give them my highest recommendation.
