Unfortunately it was closed when we passed through town. Neat old house probably loaded with great stuff. Just have a few photos of the outside.

Great place to learn about the area history. The staff were really friendly and informative. Take the time to talk to them you will learn a lot more than you will just looking at the displays. If your are interested in the Ludlow Massacre during the Colorado Coalfield War this is a good place to visit before visiting the memorial.

This was a huge disappointment. You're paying to read a handful (truly a handful, no more) 500 word "stories" of someones terribly cut down version of their life. Is it shocking that racism and bigotry was part of some people's history? No, so why is that all that's being shown here? If that's all you're looking for in a museum, this is your museum. There is no genuine and engaging history being told. No reasons for local exploration and travel in the area. Just some generic stories you could read on a post card. Hit up Wikipedia or Google and get some actual information for free.

Take a picture as you drive by and call it good. The inside is not great and the deterioration that has been allowed to happen is sad.

This was an absolute cool place and I did the extra baca house tour which was really neat I would really encourage people to go.
They also have a free little Library that's in the back of the house outside

I don't know how to review this: The museum offers a tour of the two houses for $5, which is absolutely fabulous. A wonderful hour with great information and lots to look at. On the other hand, the "museum" part, which is another $5, is little more than a collection of placards with some information. Not much to look at and honestly placards can just be uploaded to a website for people to look at. I would suggest charging just for the house tours (maybe even bump the price up a small amount) and make the museum part free. I would rate the house tours 5 stars but the museum one star. (Note: See my picture to see what I mean by placards in the museum).

Right now it isn't very big because they're doing some restructuring on the buildings which there will be more of the museum opening but what they have is very interesting. And for right now because it's not fully open it's free.

An interesting experience. It would be even better once they are finished restoring it but the parts that are finished provide a unique view of the life of wealthy citizens of Trinidad many years ago.
