This is the coolest stop in Sonora. You can get ice cream, polish dogs, beer, old books, antiques, and see into old mines! This place is so awesome!! I highly recommend coming here! The owner is so nice and friendly.

Such a great place with so much history. The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming and have so much knowledge about the history of the town and surrounding areas. It was great to just sit down and have a cold beer and talk. As well as to look at the amazing treasures for sale. Cannot recommend this place enough. A must see in Downtown Sonora!

Just starting out with new ownership. Absolutely beautiful building with so much history. Downstairs there are shelves and shelves of used books with comfy couches and remnants of history on the walls and nooks and crannies. A great saloon bar upstairs serving ice cream for now and lots more coming soon. It’s a must visit if you’re passing through Sonora downtown!

An unassuming place with thousands of books, old National Geographic magazines (a friend bought one from 1931 in mint condition), shoes, and vintage travel suitcase from the 1950's which another friend bought (which belonged to the owner's parents). Everything arranged neatly upstairs and downstairs. The owner is great to chat with too. Anyone can easily spend an hour here.

We come from France and it was our second visit here... (the first in 2012) : We found the same old-fashioned atmosphere that we enjoyed so much the first time...

It's an incredible vintage and historical site that perpetuates the mining memory of Sonora.
Great beer and delicious ice cream...
and a very warm welcome!
