Can we talk about how clean, pretty and well equipped these tiny homes are? River rock shower floor, high end soaps, a work station with very strong, very fast wifi, microwave, cooktop, dishes and Nespresso machine are only some of the creature comforts the wonderful hosts have included. Before our arrival there were very thorough text messages and email with all of the relevant details and then some. It's worth mentioning their pre-visit communications managed to cover all of the requisite legal-ese but with a warm and courteous tone, unlike most other vacation rental hosts. I stayed with my daughter and two grandsons for one affordable night and we left wishing we had made it two. The children looked for fish in the stream while we started a fire to cook dinner, after which we trooped over to the rustic outdoor cinema with a view of the forest and snow capped mountains in the distance, which is magical at dusk. We lounged like VIP's in our cozy blankets, picking our choice of movie via streaming services. After a dip in the hot tub with other guests, we all slept peacefully, they in the loft on the king size bed gazing at the stars through the skylight. When we woke in the forest, natural light streaming through our smart windows (once we were ready to let the world in with a push of a button); we walked to a quaint cafe, a neighborhood market and ice cream parlor. There is a laundry facility onsite and for each dwelling, a solo stove with grill top for your burgers, dogs and marshmallows. Even the roasting sticks were provided. Bring your swimsuit and your toothbrush, and you're there! A family of four or less will be comfortable in the space. They have dog friendly and pet free homes as well as an ADA compliant option. It's worth noting The Springs (hot springs and spa) is a short drive away but check their hours if you want to include that on your itinerary. We will all remember our visit to Smokejumper Tiny Home Resort. This getaway was a winner!

We had a wonderful getaway to Idaho City. Our stay at the Smoke Jumpers was relaxing and just what we were looking for. They were clean, comfy, and private. We loved the little wood burning stove inside. The work station was nice for some work we had to do as well. We were able to bring our pups on the adventure. While there, we booked a soak at The Springs and found a few close spots to take the dogs out on snowy adventures. We hope to enjoy them again in the summer.

The Smoke Jumper Tiny homes was a perfect 2 day get away for my husband and I. We have never stayed in a tiny home before so this was a unique experience for us. We loved it! Close to everything in Idaho City...within walking distance to most everything you could need, restaurants, grocery store, downtown. We booked a reservation at The Springs which was only 1.3 miles up the road. The next night we enjoyed the hot tub at the Smoke Jumper, that was nice as well. We would definitely stay here again. Everything was very clean...kudos to the cleaning crew!!

What an amazing experience! These unique tiny homes was just what we needed for a quick overnight get away! Very clean and comfy & loved the 24/7 access to the hot tub! Highly recommend this place.. we will most definitely be coming back in the future!

The Smokejumper was such a great little getaway for my husband and I. I have been wanting to go there for while, so when we finally booked a reservation at The Springs (hot springs) we knew we had to stay here. The location was great. Room was super clean and spacious for the two of us. It had everything you needed. We would have definitely used the spa if it had not been raining while we were there. A little recommendation would be to bring an eye mask to wear at night if you like sleeping in a dark room. 🙂 Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun stay in Idaho City.

We wanted a quick weekend getaway with our young kids to go to the hot springs and sledding. The sledding hill, Steamboat Gulch, is nearby and included with your stay. It was such an easy drive from Caldwell. Grabbed ice cream from Sarsaparilla which was excellent. The room was extremely clean and the kitchenette was perfect. In the evening we planned on a fire pit but the snow kept coming down. They provide all the tools needed even a snow shovel. We brought an instant pot for oatmeal in the morning. Very pleased! We’ll be back.

My husband and I went snowshoeing in Idaho City and thought it’d be easier to stay the night. The Smokejumper was the perfect option! They are pet friendly so our dog could come. We loved how cozy and peaceful the tiny home was. And it was awesome to be able to make our own dinner and breakfast- saving time and money! We will definitely be back this summer, and we’d recommend it if you’re looking for a fun and easy getaway. 🙂

Tiny home was an amazing place to stay at. Perfect get away for my husband and I. We’ve never staying in a tiny home but it was so cute and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a wonderful touch as well. So relaxing even in the rain. We will definitely be back!
