Had an amazing experience here. The breakfast is top notch, the rooms were clean and very nice and the front desk and staff were super friendly and helpful. Plus they have an airport shuttle and shuttle that takes you downtown. The outdoor pool is heated and they have a hot tub. Honestly one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at, even comparing to much pricier hotels.

My wife and I spent 3 nights while exhibiting at the Boise valley fly fishing show and were comfortable. They had a real nice bathroom and a full size bathtub. Water pressure was great and room temperature control was also good. It didn't get too hot then too cool so sleeping well was easier. Pillows were nice as well.

Only would recommend some way to make the towels softer with a slight lavender fragrance.

The beds at the Riverside are awesome. I haven't found one in another hotel that even comes close. The rooms are clean and everything works great. The fitness center and swimming pool plus sauna are the best. The hotel sits right on the Boise River along the greenbelt. The walking or bike riding is excellent.

Our stay here was not pleasant by any means. We did a "staycation" and wanted to use the new indoor pool. The pool was large and had a hot tub and whirlpool. The issue with the pool was the amount of chlorine. My eyes burned not from dunking my head, purely from the fumes. Our room was so dated and dirty. The shower was not clean and the sink still had hairs in it. Not only was it so outdated that the fan was louder than a lawn mower, the shower would not stay hot. It continued to turn lukewarm. The morning we were checking out at around 8:30am, a man was knocking 6 or 7 times asking to open the door-myself and my daughter were actually afraid and after a minute or two he left. This felt like a huge safety issue. Not only that, the gap under the door was so large he could probably see under or put a mirror under the door. For the price, amenities, safety, and service I would never stay here again or recommend staying here.

Positive: Staff was great. Pool, sauna and hot tub are great. Rooms are large, old school type rooms from an era of the past. Negative: The hotel rooms and building are dated. On one hand I like the old school model but rooms and common area have a dated smell and look.

We have just moved to the Boise area from Arizona . We are extremely knowledgeable of all the 5-Star Mega Scottsdale Resorts !!! Knowing that was going to be tall order to compete with those high end Resorts , we made a reservation for their New Years Eve package !!! I can not express enough how amazing everything was .First of all , the price of the package was so reasonable . Was less than just the tax and resort fees in Scottsdale . Every time I called the hotel to make the reservation , follow up , and any questions , the front desk was Over the Top friendly !! Same with checking in , they were so accommodating . They had 2 different Parties, at 2 separate times . That is a lot of people . They handled it GREAT !! Banquets rooms were turned over in record time and nothing was missed . The table set ups , the party favors , the performing Bands were fantastic. So many details : ballon’s , flowers , banners ,….I was totally impressed . The food was fabulous !!! . Next day included breakfast for ALL THOSE PEOPLE . They handled it like a fine tuned machine . My wife and I could not believe how extensive the breakfast buffet was . That same buffet would cost $27+ anywhere else . We can not say enough how impressed we were with this hotel’s service , food , and accommodations.

Overall the hotel is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the masquerade ball was a blast. However, when I called to book I tried to get a suite with a hot tub and was told I couldn't so instead I booked a riverside room. At check in they didn't have my riverside room and the agent said I got a "suite" and a $50 gift card. But she didn't tell me my suite was a parking lot view with no hot tub and that I couldn't use the gift card at the event I was booked for.
Overall a great time and breakfast was amazing. But disappointed in the room and the gift to make up for it only being able to be used at select spots, none of which were the reason I was there.

I want to give 4 stars because I really did enjoy my stay. I write this review about 2 weeks after my stay and the high has died off and some things stood out.
This is supposed to be a Premier Best Western and outside of the location on the greenbelt it didn't feel that way. The room was dated and the hotel in general has the feel.
The outdoor pool was heated and nice during the cold nights. The problem was there is advertising for adults only after 8pm. maybe this is only a summer thing but with no specifics it would have been nice. Especially since they have 2 pools.
Breakfast was good. Exceeds any hotel dining I have had. The omlette bar is a nice fun touch.
Really this hotel for what they are marketing as just needs some refurbishing.
