In April (2025) I drove up to The Lookout in Prescott from Scottsdale. I had an appointment with Eric Moore, the owner, to look for more powerful birding binoculars. He carries a full line of Vortex and Swarovski optics, and, with his terrific help, I selected a perfect new pair of 10 power binoculars. I was able to test them out on the premises at the bird feeders in the parking area. The service was excellent and the price fair. It was worth the 200 mile round trip! The Lookout also carries a great selection of tee-shirts, greeting cards, gifts, and wildlife feeding products.

This is a magnificent birding store for all your needs and more. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The Hallmark section of the store is packed not only with cards but many other goodies. We will be going back to stock up soon and look for new items to add to our birding landscape.

I love this place not only is it the bird barn but is also a beautiful Hallmark store. The selection of greeting cards is better than anywhere in town by far.

I was looking for something for my Dad, he loves his backyard birds, and had a great conversation with a lady who worked there who was from the same town I'm from. She was very helpful and I found something I think he will really like. I'll be back here for sure.

I’ve never been to such an amazing place. The owners are so knowledgeable and kind. I get all my bird food there. They also have a fantastic Hallmark section.

Perhaps I went in uneducated, but the front windows led me to believe that this would be a fantastic place to shop for the bird lovers on my list.

What i found was more of a mall style hallmark store that just happened to set aside a tiny portion for bird related "stuff", a few books,, some bird seed, and a very limited selection of overpriced bird feeder options.

Such a beautiful store. Whether you're looking for greeting cards, boxed cards, gifts, bird watching and feed supplies and opticals, this is a fun place to browse & stock up on those little extra nice touches. The staff is very attentive and helpful as well. One of my favorite places.

WOW, if you are into birds and unique gifts, this is the place. Healthy bird food and products. The most unique things in the store. Hallmark cards and decorations. A very great place.
