We absolutely loved our stay in the Imogene Hotel. We came during off season, so ended up having the whole place to ourselves. The living room/lounge area by the bar was the perfect place to lounge with a cup of coffee that I made from their coffee bar. The Thai restaurant below and the Gold Belt bar and grill below and across the street were fantastic. Great service and good. Great location right on the main road with beautiful views from our room. I would highly recommend!

I wanted to love this place. The renovations were beautiful! They did an amazing job! However…..the room cost me just shy of $400 a night which was way more than what they should have charged for the facilities. I would have been comfortable paying around $150 for what we had.

We booked it for the whiskey bar but the whiskey bar was never actually open. Not only that but their whiskey bar consisted of some lack luster whiskey choices. The best options being smoked maple knob creek and basil Hayden’s… Our room was also just steps away from the whiskey bar which was not what we were expecting and we ended up being glad they never opened.
The roof top bar shut down before 8pm. So by the time we walked across the street after dinner everything was dark and shutdown for the night.

Also during our stay we had some of the roof top bar patrons walk in our room while we were changing and showering looking for a bathroom. SURPRISE!! Shame on us for not locking the door but there really should be better signage making sure people know the last two doors are actual hotel rooms. Side note, our room was about 4 paces from the public bathroom so easy mix up.

Keep in mind that there is absolutely nothing to hide between the room and the bathroom so make sure you book this stay with someone you feel INCREDIBLY comfortable with because there are no secrets in this room.

We received a text at exactly 3pm with the instructions on how to enter the room. Thank God we had cell service. I was actually nervous about what to do in the event our coverage wasn’t happening in town which often happens.

We never found the sauna or other amenities as the entire place was shut down and dark.

A little more information about our stay would have done wonders. And like I said, had I not paid $400 a night for the room, my review would be completely different. If you can book this place for $150ish, great stay!

Beautifully updated rooms, loved the claw foot tub and an open shower! Super clean and comfortable. They have a very organized way of checking in, texts with all of the door codes etc. The bar was closing early due to it being off season but the bartender stayed just for us to have a drink after a long drive.

The primary purpose of a hotel is to have a safe comfortable place to sleep outside of one’s primary place of residence. I, however, couldn’t do that because the heating decided to make annoying noises well into the evening. When I tried to message the property about it, I received no response. You can’t reach an actual person outside of normal hours on the number Google provides, so I messaged the person who messaged me from their personal phone about our stay earlier. Additionally, there are NO amenities available in the winter. The room and bare bones lobby with fireplace that’s not turned on is absolutely all you get. Additionally, the bedding is worse than any hotel I’ve stayed at recently (I’ve stayed at 4 others just this week, including some cheapie chains) - the comforter isn’t wide enough for the bed and the pillows get super flat. Don’t be fooled by the Instagram-ableness of it all - the lacking basic conveniences are not worth the money.

Great experience! I stayed in the street-level room the Mountain Queen and it was cozy and comfortable. Close to all the best restaurants and got a great deal!

This hotel is owned by the same people who own the Hotel Ourey. I consider it a step down from the Hotel Ouray. The room wasn't the largest and there was no privacy for the bathroom usage. There is no coffee in the room and no handicap-accessible access.

We loved our stay at the Imogene for our anniversary. The rooms are small but beautiful and had what we needed and the bed was super comfortable. We loved the beautiful bathroom although one of our sinks was not draining well. Location is great, we loved having a private entrance in the back. It was a bummer not having the option to sauna! We’ve been cold here in September and would have loved it. All in all, we’ve really appreciated the location, comfortable room, and modern interiors.
