The Lodge was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The lady who checked us in was so sweet and very welcoming. I would highly recommend staying. The price is excellent for the comfort, friendliness and clean rooms.

This is the worst but the most expensive motel we stayed at during our trip. The rate was $199! Rooms seem renovated but are very small. Beds are old, uncomfortable and worn out. We always rolled together and could not sleep. Breakfast? Which breakfast? There is no table to sit at (there would not even be room for a small one). There were cheap too sweet snacks, apples and oranges. |We cannot recommend this place!

My adult son and I are on a fly fishing vacation on the Henry’s Fork River in Island Park. The Fishing Bear Lodge is awesome. Great value. Immaculate. Great beds. Everything is beautifully renovated. Ownership and staff are great. The pizza place down the street has amazing pizza. The Fishing Bear Lodge exceeded my expectations.

What a great stay!!! The lady at check-in was super helpful, even had some recommendations for things to see in the area. Check-in was a breeze and the beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. Would definitely stay here again if we are in town.

The remodel (and rename) of this motel a few years ago was a fantastic move. Rooms are really nice, new, and clean. Rates are great. The family suite was great for us and our 2 kids and with 2 bunk beds and 2 full size it could result for a larger family with comfort. We liked this better than any of the airbnbs we stayed in in Ashton in the past.

This place is adorable! Overnight stay, and it was so comfortable. Very clean, and the decorations are very cute. You can tell the owners really care. Comfy bed and spacious bathroom and shower. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Will definitely be back!

We picked this location due to positive reviews on Google for our stay after an active day at Yellowstone. It was along the route we were traveling and super convenient. It seems to have been recently updated and is well maintained. We had a 2 bed queen suite. Comfortable beds, all cabin type decor. The bathroom was large. There was a fridge (with a freezer so we could re-freeze our cold packs) microwave and keurig type coffee maker. It was clean and tidy. They even had camp chairs and a small table if you wanted to sit out on the sidewalk by your room. This is the first time I’ve stayed in roadside hotel and it changed by view completely - cute, clean and comfy, would definitely stay here again!

I happened on this lodge at the last minute and had a great experience. I'll have to come back with my sons who enjoy canoeing with me. The 2 queen room had a nice separation with one bed in it's own side room (through a doorway but not a door). It would be a convenient separation if one person wanted to sleep while the other was watching TV. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff friendly. It's one of those places that reminds you of the best of the roadside motels that are going away: small business, handy parking right outside the room, walking to the ice cream shop next door and the businesses on main street a block away.
