When I'm traveling, I try to seek out and explore at least one Indie bookstore. The End, despite its slightly forbidding name is one of the best ever. It checked all the boxes: nicely curated selection of books, friendly, welcoming staff, inviting spaces to sit, socially responsible approach to selling. To top it all off, found an interesting, beautiful book to buy! Highly recommended. Will be back when I'm in the area.

The End: a bookstore is a magical place. The owner and every employee work hard to make everyone feel welcome. They have amazing book signings, community events, book clubs, exchanges and readings. The End works so hard and cares so deeply about our community. I respect the deep passion they have for curating and sharing amazing books. I love the curated sections, new books and classics they carry.

They spend countless hours searching for and organizing all the newest titles. The End not only works to share books with our city, they also spend time setting up events to promote local writers and supporting other local businesses. I am thankful to have such an amazing bookstore close to me. I noticed a few negative reviews and I really don't understand them. If you go in to a bookstore and can't find what you need or want, don't you know they can order you anything you want? It's almost like they have never been in a bookstore before.

I have had the pleasure of visiting this new Allentown gem multiple times. What a truly well stocked bookstore! It has something for everyone. The intimate setting is perfect for spending time in a comfy chair and soaking in poetry, art, history and so many diverse topics, people and influences. Perfect place for a family outing or meet up with a friend. Thank you for highlighting different perspectives and cultures. My son and I love going in and always leave with more than one book. Will visit again and again.

Such a gem! It feels like a warm hug every time I walk in. This store is so important to our community and offers a safe, welcoming space to so many. A great spot to find unique treasures and they will special order anything that they don’t carry in the store! Also, lots of fun events for adults and kids. My go to for birthday gifts. Please support this local business — we are lucky to have them!

I recently visited this independent bookstore to pick up some items we had ordered. We received some holiday gifts but we already had copies of those books and the staff helped us return our duplicate items and re-order new books. I always remember to allot at least 30 minutes if I take my children along as they love to look at all of the book shelves, sit on the cozy chairs, read the backs of a stack of books to decide what to buy and bring home. I am thankful for the staff and owners of this location who dedicate their time and energy into the local community. This was a great one-stop shop during the holidays where I purchased small ornaments for family members, candles, bookmarks, puzzles, books, notebooks, and other thoughtful gifts. Five stars isn't enough, 10/10 would recommend. If they don't have what you're looking for they can most likely order it for you. I'm grateful for this shop; big box stores don't have the same feeling. Nobody else makes you feel like you're in an extension of your own home.

This bookstore has a wide variety of options and an incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. This is a real community bookstore. They know books and are willing to help you find/discover your next great read. It is a place that believes that ideas are worth exploring. We are better when we approach the world with a sense of curiosity and humility. We are so lucky to have The End!

Great local bookstore that can get you what you need even if it’s not on the shelf. I grabbed some children’s books for a baby shower a few months back- really well thought out selection, it’s been several years since I purchased a children’s book.
More recently I stopped by with my son, who said as we approached the door, “oh nice, this is a safe space for me.” Thank you for that! We both purchased several books including Ina Garten’s new memoir and The Shining along with several others for book clubs and gifts. The staff was friendly and helpful and ordered a few things we were looking for. They also CALLED when they came in- refreshing in a too many emails world. Thanks for being a part of the community! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My family moved to the valley almost two years ago, and I was thrilled to find a local bookstore close to home. My daughter loves playing with the dollhouse setup while I browse, and it's the cutest shop. The employees get to know you and attending their events is always a hit. Their inclusivity is also a bonus! Grab a cup of coffee at Nowhere in the same shopping center and you'll have a relaxing afternoon.
