I have taken our unwanted clothes to this store for years in the past, so when my daughter decided to move to her own apartment she went through her closet and she had a large amount to take there. I accidentally grabbed a bag of clothes that she meant to keep so she went in that same day to see if she could get them back. She was told by the owner she could look through 2 of the 6 garbage bags we donated but she couldn't look through the others because she didn't have enough time to wait for her to look (This was a Saturday) so I went back up Monday and the lady behind the counter said our clothes were all in the back, in the bags we brought them in and said she would reach out to her boss to see if we could look through them and get back the ones that we meant to keep. She took my number and the owner texted me later that day and she had already gone through them and kept the ones she wanted for her store and donated the rest. (Which was a totally different story from the employee working that day). I know it was my fault for accidently donating something I shouldn't have, but my daughter said she was treated very rude when she went it and I believe her. Also, I got lied to, which I think is terrible customer service. However, I'm not sure who was the liar here, (either the owner or the employee) but the stories I got that Monday were completely opposite. I will now be taking my donations elsewhere or my daughter will sell them herself.

My daughter has high end taste ,she gave me 9 pairs of buckel jeans, some office shirts and jackets and a couple of hoodies. I took them here, while I filled out the paperwork. I thought it was odd that when the clerk was going through the clothes she was blocked from my site with a mountain of other clothing. I called 3 weeks later and they couldn't find my slip. She told me to call back in a couple of days to talk to managers. I called but they were closed for the 2 next weeks. I only know this due to calling every day. Keep in mind I live 35 miles away. While on my way to a medical appointment I saw it was open so I stopped and low and behold there was the clerk that had waited on me. She too had no idea what had happened. Never again folks...

I went in a couple weeks ago and had $25 on my account. The lady working was incompetent and couldn’t work the computer system and kept saying “this has never happened before and I’ve worked here a long time.” I waited there for 15 minutes while her and her boss were texting trying to figure it out (Maybe a phone call would have been faster, if you have someone waiting?). She asked if I wanted to stay while they figured it out or come back later. As I had someone driving me and waiting in the car, I told her I could come back a different time and hope they had it figured out. I asked her if it would be the same amount and if she could throw away the cash out paper I signed, since I didn’t get the money on my account. She said “everything would be fine” and I watched her throw anyway the paper.

I went back today to get the money on my account and it was $16. I understand that the longer you wait the amount of money depreciates - but considering that before it was THEIR ERROR that was preventing them from giving me my money - I figured It would at least be the $25 that was there before. When I asked the lady about it today, the same lady that I spent 20 min with a couple weeks before while she texted her boss, she had a deer in headlights look and said to me “I have no idea.” Didn’t take the time to look into it or text her boss like before. I’m assuming it was because she had a friend in the store and was bothered she had to actually work for five minutes.

It’s not so much about the $8 I lost. It’s more about the lack of customer service and that they took advantage of a system error to make money off their customers. I hope they can use this situation in the future to improve on, well, everything.
