We have brought our kids to The Cabin's Summer Spring Camps for a couple of years. They make writing so much fun for beginners and seasoned writers alike. All of our kids enjoy writing and consider themselves writers due to these amazing camps! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I had met a colleague here once a long time ago and liked the space, upon my 2nd trip I was shunned by an unfriendly and uninformed staff...

I arranged a new meeting with a new acquaintance to collaborate and work. Initially he was allowed in and was working in an empty space. When I came I was asked if I was a member, the conversation proceedes as follows:
Me: "No"
Staff: "You have to be a member to use the Cabin"
Me: "I'm sorry, I didn't know, how much is a membership? And can we use the facility today if we buy one?"
Staff: "$xx dollars for a membership, but you have to reserve the space in advance so you can't work here today."

I proceeded to point out that all rooms were empty (it was a Monday afternoon), and asked if we could reserve a space same day? One staff member said ok, the other said no...confusion ensued.

I chose to leave and it was a pity the staff could not accept a membership or let us use the space for a short time as an introduction. We proceeded to use the Trail Head space and they have their policy clearly in print and also were very friendly - even letting us use the space to work that day! I recommend buying a membership there as thats what I did!!!

I should also note one staff member had a dog in the Cabin, I asked if it was a dog friendly space and was told Absolutely not - dogs are only ok if you're a staff member and make rules for yourself at a publicly owned establishment I suppose.
