Visited on the afternoon of Dec. 28, 2024. Waited for nearly 90 mins for a table for two inside. Did some gift tea shopping while we were waiting. The bartender who checked out for us asked if we checked the price tag of the tea as it cost $50…what does it mean Sir? You expect customers who come for a $200 meal not being able to afford a few boxes of tea?!?! Come on Dushanbe! You should be better than this.

If it’s because it ever happened to someone else, please have a sign somewhere in the counter so it doesn’t cause any misunderstanding. I know some customers think the food is not cheap for its quality. However, you are aware that 99% of the customers who walk into your restaurant know they can afford it, right?

Thanks for your gentleman’s ‘kind’ remind. A bit more customer service training won’t hurt your business.

We were more than impressed with the amazing experience we had. Very cute teahouse with an impressive menu. Huge selection of teas from all over the world in addition to an interesting wine list. We ordered a variety of dishes but my favorites were the Korean fried noodles and the Persian kufteh. The place is very vegetarian friendly. Service was impeccable in spite of a busy Saturday afternoon.

This place is absolutely STUNNING! The architecture is beautiful, such a nice spot to come and see. We were visiting from Canada, and this was one of my favorite places to see on the trip.

Although the food wasn’t anything overly amazing, it was still pretty good. And I loved the tea vibe. I do wish they offered more dishes from Tajikistan on the menu to fully experience the culture, but there was a wide variety of foods to choose from, and a lot of veg options too!

Would come here often if I lived nearby!

If you’re in Boulder it’s a must visit place and if you’re not in Boulder then plan to visit the cute town for this place. The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is a great experience for tea lovers and if that’s not your “Cup of tea” 😅 then they do offer great collection of cocktails and other food options. The ambience is phenomenal and they have used space to the perfection. The interior is gorgeous. Most importantly tea was great and can’t wait to visit Boulder again just to visit this Teahouse.

Although I have been eating here for years, each time I go it’s a different experience. Sundays attract a later, busier crowd so our wait was around 15 minutes and went quickly (mostly because my companion is a great communicator). Forgetting to photograph the meals, I have taken my leftover, instead. Both meals were pretty delicious, although the spicy peanut sauce was a bit too strong for my taste. After both of us tasted my meal, we agreed the sharpness lasted a long while. It has a very yummy taste to it so if you like spicy which the meal is called, you’ll love the peanut sauce. My dining companion had the garbanzo bean dish with curry and I preferred it to mine. The waitress was in the process of learning and we thought she forgot about our chai drinks, which took at least a half hour to arrive and warm rather than hot. More timely service would have been helpful. It seems the indoor service rivals the outdoor service, at least that’s been my experience.

Book the reservation in advance if you want to order afternoon tea set. Can’t just walk in and get it. I recommended to try the Tea( especially milk tea) and the dessert here, it’s the best combo( with the restaurant’s vibes) . Definitely come back

Fantastic place for a calm morning. They take great care on each cup of tea depending on what you order. They also have a robust list of tea infused cocktails that are to die for.
