Nice bookstore. Love the name. Friendly staff. They have 2 cats roaming around. Very deceptively small looking from the outside but inside it is extensive and there are thousands of books. A truly massive collection with some gems and rarities in there. Definitely worth the stop. Only negative is parking is difficult to find. Worth a walk!

Every time I am in Placerville, I have to stop off here. I love the maze of books, being surrounded by all those old tomes. There is always something I find a nice surprise there.

Unmissable! We always visit whilst passing by on the freeway. The book collection is a maze and it always feels like a hard choice narrowing down what to buy.

Such a cute little store, a ton of books from different genres -- something for everyone. We found an interesting book from the 50s about the Gold Rush, for example. The lady working there is really friendly, and there is a sleeping cat at the end of the bookstore ?‍⬛️

Wonderful book shop with so many great sections. My husband loves the art instruction section. He picked up some reasonably priced vintage drawing books.

I fell in love with the owner's dogs. They are the most loving dogs I've seen in a long time. Thanks for cheering up my day, dogs!
