Chris Burk, seemed like an asshole at first. He took his time explaining things and educated me on a few things about my stereo/amp/subwoofer. While installing an amp and sub in my buick, he discovered 2 issues on my vehicle (not specifically related to the sound system) and he brought those to my attention. Prior to the install I asked him to clean up some of the work that I had done myself, which he did very neatly. When the install was finished, he walked me around the vehicle and explained his work and made sure that I was satisfied customer. I paid the bill, we shook hands and I was out the door. While In his parking lot, I discovered my dash lights on instrument cluster were not working as they did Prior to the install, Chris comes outside in the pouring rain and dedicated another approximately 20 minutes of his time, checked all of the wires and replaced a fuse responsible for dash lights which solved the issue with lights. Went in to find anything that would fit temporarily in my truck till I could find a custom enclosure. Owner said he had custom boxes but wouldn’t sell them, unless he did the install. I’m thinking, ‘I’ll have this guy do the sub system and down the road I’ll upgrade door speakers.’ I had a week earlier ordered a line out converter, thinking I was going to be stuck doing it all myself. When I told him I had already ordered one, thinking he would have one less thing to source, he interrupts me to say (as close as I can recall to an exact quote), ‘Yeah, I’m not going to sell nothing to you.’ I thanked him and told him and make sure to tell everyone not to go there. His response I didn’t catch, but he sure showed me with getting the last word.
The last shop I had worked with got thousands of dollars of my money. They even encouraged me to bring in products they couldn’t get thru their distributors and installed them for me. And that was a chain location! Apparently, this guy has so much business, he can run perspective money sources off with his lack of people skills.
Since this incident, I have spoken with several people with their own stories of this guy’s ‘abrasiveness’. I’ve done many of my own installs over the last 27 years, so I do know a bit about how things are done. However, it is nice to have that professional touch when time and labor are an issue. There are too many really good shops and installers in our area to waste my time going somewhere where I’ll be treated like trash. Which is all the more ironic considering my intention was to give him money!

Stopped in yesterday to see if I could figure out why my stereo stopped working in my 3rd gen 4runner. Chris was more than happy to diagnose the situation, and said it was likely the speakers. He quickly started to take off the door panel to see if the speakers were bad, and when we found out it wasn't the speakers, he moved onto the stereo deck itself. It was indeed my old Kenwood stereo that the previous owner installed. Chris replaced my old stereo for a beautiful new one and it sounds even better than the old one! He even uninstalled the old amplifier that I wasn't using, and all the wiring that went with it, for no extra cost. He did a great job. He was quick and efficient, focused, and cordial. I would definitely recommend him to others. Thanks for getting me some tunes again!

I called two weeks in advance to set up an appointment. I come in and they were working on a different customer's car. I drove over from Montana. Then I personal told him I had an Audi A6 with A Bose system. He told me a Sony unit would be the best fit. And him would look in to it. If there where any concerns him call me back. Never heard from him. So I went to my appointment on time. He took one look in side and said he couldn't do it. A factory radio for a Sony unit that he recomend. And he could do it. What a joke of a stereo install shop. Don't waste your time with that loser.Needs more experience in stereo installation. And lots of it I cant see a future in that store.
