Went to library to study a project for work. When I entered a young lady asked if she could help me. I replied I was looking for a quiet place I could study some documents. She directed me to a distant table a chair...that worked out great for a few minutes. Another worker came over beside where I'm quietly making progress and proceeds to scream across the library "I don't see it. Did you say thr?" And this loud cross library conversation goes on until I finally asked is there somewhere quiet I can go? Just another example of the rules don't apply to me...I work here, I'm special! As a lifelong tax payer I feel this is very rude. Could it be time to reduce the staff of people who refuse to obey the rules they should follow also? Very rude and disrespectful behavior. I gathered up my material and left. To me this is unacceptable behavior of staff. Nice to see my years of taxes are appreciated Talladega Public Library.

The staff is SUPER NICE'. but I went to listen to a video tutorial which of course requires sound. I had two different types of head phones. Unfortunately I didn't have a spare pair circa 1984 and unable to simply watch a video. Honestly they could've cared less that nobody could listen to something with sound.

They work very well with ensuring you get what you need. They ordered 2 books for me to complete a series. They do curbside. They are also doing everything possible to limit the spread of covid.
