This is the best hidden gen I have stumbled upon while planning my wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better printshop. They treated my save the dates like works of art. Eddie was fantastic to work with. He was very prompt and personable on top of showing me the crazy variety of techniques and their applications of printing techniques which helped me push myself artistically to create the best result. I'm so excited to work on the rest of the print collateral with the shop. Everyone I've shown has been blown away at how beautiful they came out and the quality of envelopes Eddie helped us select. Could not recommend any other printing shop in person or online more than I could Sunset Printing. This shop is the GOAT of artisan printing, and that's a statement coming from a professional graphic designer like myself.

Literally the best printshop I've ever worked with. They will go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you want. They are very committed to precision printing. They will not delivery sonething thing that is almost perfect. They are pickier about quality than most of their customers because they can spot when something isnt registered perfectly. You will not be sorry if you work with Sunset. Their prices are fair and their work is excellent!

I worked with Sunset for our company for years. I chose a local, family-owned company instead of outsourcing our paper goods oversees. During the time working together, we ordered all our product cards for over millions of dollars of sales.

A few months ago, I came to pick up our final order, since we were closing the company. The box they set out for me wasn't counted, and was less than the 5000 I ordered. I asked if they could count it and they huffed and said "don't you trust us." I stayed while they counted (all while being 36 weeks pregnant) and once counted she shoved the card in my face. It was about 1400 cards off what I pre-paid for. When I asked about the final amount, they couldn't tell me exactly when they would have it for me. These were for liquidating my product and already late.

I asked to speak to Eddie, who had always been so kind to me. He came out and basically said sorry, I don't know what we can do. His wife was literally the rudest person I had every dealt with, and it was a complete Jekyll and Hyde situation, as I had always enjoyed working with them. I don't know if I caught them on a bad day or what, but I spent the next hour crying then wondering how they could treat a person so horribly.

I would suggest using another vendor, because I don't think they have the time or capacity to treat others with kindness and dignity. I literally never write bad reviews, but this was hands down the more odd and awful experience with a company as a customer I have ever had.

They may be good for one off events etc., but I would steer clear of building a relationship with them.

Gary is super easy to work with. He loves his job. I ordered business cards and blank cards with envelopes to use a thank you cards. THEY ARE AMAZING!!! The color is sharp, cards are substantial. I loved them the first time I saw them. But since, I have received a lot of business cards and immediately think, most of the time, these are not nearly as nice as mine! Our business cards really show we are detailed and quality matters to us. Which is important in our industry.

Eddie and Kim are absolutely wonderful! Kim is a welcoming spirit that immediately makes you feel at home. Eddie’s work is exceptional and he is a printing process Einstein. He’s very perceptive in understanding each individual project and recommending the best printing technique or procedure. He has an arsenal of contacts so if he can’t do something, he knows who can. He’s well-versed in all the types of paper products and can recommend the best finish and weight for the job. Not to mention he understands budget and can make any allowance restriction look like expensive quality.
