Getting a room here was the worst experience I have ever had the manager was damn near impossible to get a hold of the people living at property very rude and disrespectful to people who come to just stay the weekend. Room was not the best fridge was very gross and had bad old rotten food in it. Did not get a receipt and was charged extra days and was not informed of the extra charges 🙄 🤔 so I will have no choice but to get a full refund by disputing with my bank now.. I should have looked over reviews before getting a room here cause like all the same things are happening to lots of your customers are very unhappy with you and the way you handle the problem and property

Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable and clean, but I noticed when I pulled the comforter down there were old blood stains on the inside of it! Yuk! Even washed, that comforter should never have been used! Back window was cracked and covered with some plastic material. Furniture was old and chipped. "Welcome" mat in front of front door was totally worn through to the wooden porch. The whole property is in need of a major face lift or tear it down and start over!

The social skills and communication of Kim are so bad 👎 it ruins the whole experience. There is a ditch at the entrance that damages your car. And loud road construction all day. This must be a person that got by on father's achievements. He will call you yelling after losing your business. Because, he puts zero effort in and blames you for him not doing his job. Messages are from Kim, who thinks he can treat people like garbage. Kim has yet to return the deposit.

Traveler beware: the photos of this property are probably 20 years old and the property currently appears to be minimally maintained and is in various stages of disrepair. Their prices have kept up with the times so it feels like a bait and switch when you arrive it’s nothing like the photos. Despite the non-smoking policy on the property, our room had lingering odors of being smoked in for decades. I will say that the things that matter most are indeed clean: bed/linens and bathroom; and communication for check-in was clear and prompt. Regardless, we actually left early and did not even stay the second night because it was such a derelict environment.

Kinda looks like a sketchy murder motel when you roll up - broken windows, unkempt yard, peeling paint, junk strewn about...Internet barely works, which is probably a first-world remote worker issue more than anything (we stayed in an emergency situation for 2 weeks, and I had to work while here). Rooms are adequate, not super clean. Much akin to jail, you get a single roll of toilet paper, a towel, and a rag upon "check in". One microscopic trash can with one liner for the whole motel room - we utilized a 5 gallon pail and our own trash bags to rectify this. Bed is AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE, and fairly certain pretty new! Interesting crew of people staying here, everyone was friendly and kind. Every person we talked to had terrible luck communicating with the owners to get room info - they are off-site, and apparently they are too busy with other things to be too hands-on with the motel? ALL OF THAT ASIDE, the views are AMAZING, easy access to hiking and biking trails, and great 'rustic' motel experience. We had an unexpectedly awesome 2 week stay. I wish the owners would let me run this place and make it the awesome destination it should be.

Don't stay here if you don't want neighbors who potentially hang out, smoke weed, and have some beers! Saw a couple during our stay who did not appreciate the casual atmosphere that came with the cast of long term characters.

The place worked out great. I did have a small issue but it was resolved very quickly.

Quiet, right by all of the biking/hiking trails, a 3 minute drive to downtown. Very solid for the price.
