I have been going to fabric shops for 55 years. Stitch is a something special. The staff is extraordinary. They are helpful, knowledgeable, encouraging and excited about what ever project you are working on. The store is a visual delight and endlessly inspiring. Plus, they have stellar technical support. I have my machine serviced annually, and it comes back purring like the day I brought it home. They have an online reservation system, so you can bring your machine in when they have time. No waiting for weeks, wondering when you will get your machine back. Recently, my Bernina walking foot broke. I took it apart and assumed it was unsalvageable, but I took it to Stitch anyway. A few days later, Mark had fixed it! The necessary part was in inventory, and he managed to restore it! It was returned to me cleaned, and neatly packed into the original box.

This is the best quilt store in Durango! Love this place. Great fabric selection. Modern, cool, bright fabrics. Cute quilt kits! Located off Main Avenue in the heart of Historic Downtown Durango. Please say hello to Max when shopping. Max is our favorite employee. 🙂

This is the best quilt shop! I love getting to visit Stitch. The owners are super and very helpful. All of the employees are very helpful. The fabric is so modern, colorful and great to use in quilts. I cannot say enough good things about it. When in Durango a stop at Stitch is a must!

what happened? we are here today at 1130 and store is closed even though it says open 11-4 but door locked and lights off? when i tried to call, message says that voicemail is not set up so unable to leave message….

One of the very best quilt shops you could hope to find anywhere!
A jewel box of a shop in a historic building in Downtown Durango, Colorado, it has all the charm and character you'd expect in this wonderful destination town. The fabric selection is sophisticated, fun and comprehensive; you're sure to find something that inspires you, and you can pick up everything you need for your project here. LeeAnn and her staff are always welcoming and helpful, and they love to have fun! (Is the word FUN trending here?)
