Brunch isn't my favorite (blasphemy, I know), so I'm always excited when I find a place I really like.

My husband and I shared:
- Bhakati Chai
- Spikey's Golden Milk
- Pesto Quesadilla
- Big Dipper with Strawberry Banana and Icing
- Housemade Sweet Roll
- Banana Jubilee

Starting with the drinks, the Bhakati Chai was amazing. I hate when chai is all sugar and no spice and this one has a lot of spice.

Between the entrees, I think the Big Dipper was my favorite which is surprising because I don't usually go for a sweet breakfast. The combination of pancake and French toast was unique and delicious. I love that they encourage customization because I wanted to combine the options on the menu. The pesto quesadilla was also fantastic though, so just get both.

The sweet roll was good, but I prefer my cinnamon rolls to be gooier. The Banana Jubilee was delicious, but it was sadly a special that day, so I'm not sure when it will be on the menu again.

It was so busy when we got there that I was surprised we only had a 15 minute wait (around 9:30 on a Saturday). I'd definitely go back again!

This place is great. The food is good, atmosphere is great, the only thing is it gets busy. I've been there closer to the afternoon and you get the younger crowd getting brunch. If you go earlier you get the older crowd with kids. Your choice but it's always busy.
It's also kind of pricey. I guess average for Boulder but still not cheap.

I'd give this 6 stars if I could! The breakfast potatoes and the gluten free pancakes were some of the best breakfast foods I've had in my whole life. The omelette and espresso were awesome too. Our server was so nice and thoughtful and was very knowledgeable of celiac and which gluten free items did not have cross contamination. We Sat outside and had a lovely view of the mountains. The server also brought some water for my friends dog!

My friend and I had a great experience here! The service was great and everyone was so patient with us which was awesome because I had a lot of trouble deciding what I wanted to eat. The food was all pretty good but nothing stellar so that’s why only 4 stars. I was pretty disappointed with the biscuit because it wasn’t standard or as buttery as I expected. It by no means was bad, it just wasn’t what I expected or would be used to. We both got the BHAKTI CHAI which was absolutely delicious and I’d definitely recommend. Might even go there just for it! I would definitely recommend South Side Walnut to others looking for a chill good brunch spot. Also decent pricing.

We had breakfast here a few Saturdays ago and had a nice time! I was surprised that there was no line to get in; we were seated immediately. Our server was very nice, and the menu had a good variety of options. I ended up having the sunrise sandwich, which was probably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a while. The other food ordered by the rest of the party - French toast and some sides - was also good! Overall, and pleasant and tasty experience!

It’s such a treat to come here. I think the food can be pretty underwhelming at times. But the people, service, and atmosphere make it great. Anything on the espresso menu is delicious. My favorites: pumpkin pancakes, blueberry cornbread, eggs marcos, Boulder latte, potatoes. Also, if you’re vegan, the only thing here is oatmeal really :/ lots of vegetarian options but not vegan.

Easily one of the best places in Boulder, we nicked named it 'pancakes for sides' as you can get pancakes or french toast as a side option to your meal! We visit here often, but recently went in for my birthday breakfast and the overwhelming kindness of the host and entire staff promoted me to leave this review. Amazing people atmosphere and vibe.
