The Lore Lodge exposed this outfit for still trying to dunk on a guy that has been dead for 20 years. Frankly the lies spun from this factory of sadness is just disgusting. You all are a disgrace to journalism, as a profession.

The former editor continues to smear a Deadman who didn't want to sell his property. Wrote articles smearing him which drove him to mental health problems. Defending yourself so that people won't see how badly this man was treated.

"I have had a perfect life up until 1999 when I found out what the Thompson's had done to me in 92'. And I am not gonna take it. And I have to use the resources I have, the Wherewithall that I have, the ability that I have, the knowledge that I have to make this right. I am not walking away from it. Maybe I'm being a coward by doing what I am doing. Because without a doubt I'm doing what YOU have done. I'm-I'm Lying. I'm conspiring. I'm keeping things secret. And It's going to happen. If I would've married, had a family? Y'know things would've gone different. But god built me for this job. You had- you had to take me on in mass. Well, I'm gonna take you on by myself." -The last words of Marvin Heemeyer, the man you helped tear down to the ground.

Absolutely absurd that they want $420 to post an thoughtful obituary for someone who lived in Granby for 30 years. Nothing like wanting to share the news of a lost love one to only have them want that absurd amount of money. I got told on the phone that it was a base price of $95 to post up to100 words and that didn't include even a small picture. The 100 words doesn't even cover the amount of some family's names and any important information. Truly sad. 😔

Recent increases in relevant event reporting and unbiased articles on local affairs seem to show a change of course for this newspaper. I can appreciate the challenge of fair reporting in today's political climate and it's nice to see this effort being put in. The removal of opinion columns was a welcome change.

One of the news papers in Grand county. It is very corporate, and not "of the people" but they do put out news. If you are looking for a paper written by the locals check out Winter Park Times or the Grand Gazette
