We stayed at Shore Lodge for our elopement over Valentine’s Day weekend (February 14-17), and it was nothing short of magical. The entire experience was unbelievably beautiful, and the staff made it even more special. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed—especially by the bartenders, who were just to die for! Their kindness and genuine excitement for us made our stay even more memorable.

We booked the Lakefront King Suite on the ground level, and it was perfect. The room was spotless, beautifully set up, and even had a sweet treat waiting for us upon arrival. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed.

A special shoutout to Matthew, the valet/driver, who truly went above and beyond. He was incredibly kind and made getting into town effortless. Another Matthew, our server at The Narrows restaurant for our post-wedding ceremony dinner with friends, also did an amazing job. The service was top-notch, the food and wine were excellent, and the special treats they provided—like the palate cleansers and the little spoon of deliciousness (possibly sorbet)—were such a nice touch.

I cannot recommend Shore Lodge enough! It was the perfect place for such a special occasion, and we already hope to return every year for our anniversary.

Wonderful experience!! Took my mom here for her birthday! Served wine upon arrival and they had these amazing peach danishes as well! Wonderful food in the dining area. Great service!!! Great drinks! We had a blast. Plus the rooms are super nice!

I had the best time going to Shore Lodge! Great service, great room service, great movie theater and more. I had the best time going here! Jacuzzi was awesome. Snow was fun!! And I didn’t forget anything! This really was a five star experience. If you want a good vacation you should come here!

This hotel is at best a three star hotel. They have excellent service, however, they overcharge with resort fees & excessive taxes. This place has no resort amenities, so why charge a resort fee in the winter time. We tried to go into the movie theatre and only two people were in there and they told us to get out, very rude of them and I don't know whose authority they were under. But being civil & not wanting to cause a scene, we gladly exited. We did play a little ping pong, but that wasn't worth the $58.00 resort fee we were charged.
The rooms were small, carpet old. I did like the cookie they gave us at night time, but couldn't they spare an extra one for my roommate
When I asked the front desk why there were so many tax line items on the billing, they said we don't know what that is. I wanted to talk to a manager, but there wasn't anyone available. So, i had to call later to talk to a manager, but none were available again. I left a message for manager to give me a call back, but no one ever did. Maybe I expect too much as we are well traveled, however, please do not think you are going to get an excellent hotel with the Shore Lodge........

Wonderful stay, once again. The staff are professional and friendly and the amenities well taken care of. We had a family emergency that warranted an early departure and the staff was so generous to reimburse us. This was unexpected and we are so grateful. Can't wait to stay again!

Wife and I had a great weekend trip to shore lodge. Very beautiful area and lodge. The narrows steakhouse and the cove spa were highlights of the trip. We both thought this would be a great place to bring the kids in the summer. They had s’mores set up out by the fire by the pool which was a nice touch and a game room downstairs. I would love staying a few days and still having access to the gym. I’m sure my wife and I would both enjoy another massage and the spa pools are a great indoor and outdoor relaxing environment. I jumped in the sauna for 20 minutes which really helps me relax. That was a nice treat. They could update the wood work at the spa. The drink food service is nice, the Shore Fashioned is a go to delicious cocktail. Worth the money with a custom batch of knob creek white tail. The view in winter is very peaceful and my wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at the lodge was incredible. The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking views that are truly unforgettable. The bar and rooms are beautifully designed, and the spa is nothing short of magical—a must-visit for anyone looking to relax. The bell staff and valet team were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We also really appreciated the complimentary shuttle to town (don’t forget to tip the drivers!).||While the overall experience was fantastic, the front desk staff and concierge service didn’t quite match the high standards set by the rest of the hotel. When we arrived, the front desk informed us that our room wasn’t ready, but the bell staff later confirmed that it actually was. The front desk attendant wasn’t particularly friendly during this interaction. Additionally, when we visited the concierge desk, we waited while the concierge was engaged in a casual conversation with another staff member. She didn’t acknowledge us or ask for a moment, which felt a bit dismissive.||These were minor issues in the grand scheme of things, but a bit surprising given the caliber of the hotel. That said, they didn’t overshadow our overall enjoyment.||If you dine at the steakhouse, be sure to order the Snake River Farms beef—it’s exceptional!

I recently visited this establishment and was struck by its fantastic location—truly some of the best views in Idaho. However, the experience was marred by exceptionally poor service. The bar staff appeared disinterested and often vanished for long stretches, leaving customers waiting without attention. Even during less busy times, I found myself waiting over 30 minutes for a drink and food, which was quite frustrating. While the scenery is a major draw, the service needs significant improvement to match the beautiful surroundings.
