It's really clean and tidy in there and thus presents a nice atmosphere. The owner is cool and experienced, Irene the manager is amazing, helpful, and friendly. Ziggy the dog is cute and always willing to answer questions, if she's not around the other employees are very knowledgeable.
5 stars, would definitely Trading Post again.

We wanted to check this store out while visiting in town. As we arrived it was raining pretty hard. My husband accidentally backed into a wooden post while parking. My daughter and I walked into the store and the owner said rudely “how’s my post?” I commented back that the post was just fine, but my car was not. He marched straight outside where my husband was and made another snide comment. My husband responded “how would you like to handle this?” The owner would not even look at him and said “it’s fine”. We assessed for damage which there was NONE. We walked into the store and the owner disappeared. We wanted to stay and look around but based on how rude the owner was, we immediately walked out. He called us “special and trashy”. I believe any business owner that deals with customers should be more kind. It was a rough day that was made worse by a very rude person. My husband owned up to his mistake and felt really bad, only to be met with shame and ridicule by a complete strange. It put a huge damper on the end of our vacation.

I stopped in here early in the day. I just wanted to see what it's all about.

This store primarily sells Native American jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings, belt buckles) and guns. There are other items for sale too (pottery, stickers, musical stuff), but mostly jewelry and guns. All of the jewelry is beautiful.

When I walked in, a man was vacuuming the rug near the front door while a dog watched him closely. The man did tell me good morning. The dog ignored me because it was totally enthralled by the vacuum cleaner.

I didn't go into the gun room, and I didn't try to get past the man and the dog to get a close look at what was on the other side of the store.

You can also rent some kind of all terrain vehicles here.

This is not a standard souvenir shop.

I had a wonderful time enjoying a UTV that can be rented here. So fun!! Got to see beautiful places I wouldn’t have seen otherwise and had a really enjoyable day. Highly recommend checking it out!!

Rented a RZR for the day. Very reasonable price, great equipment, and excellent customer service.
They walked me through the steps and gave great detailed route recommendations. Such a cool store with lots of guns, guitars, and other goo stuff. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Pagosa Springs.

Great place. Very helpful . Have been buying my firearms from them for years . They will take the time to look online for a mag u need . Very very happy with all my firearm purchases . Ammo prices are lowest around ...=)
