This place is like an antique mall, but without a lot of antiques. Instead of having all the clothes together or all the jewelry together, I think each vendor has their own little section. That's how it seemed to me.

I looked all through the store (which is BIG), and there was a lot of stuff in there. I saw local rocks (out front on tables); fancy, polished stones; jewelry;a wide variety of clothing; shoes; toys; books; home decor; incense; kitchen items; knickknacks; and souvenirs.

Prices vary widely, but way in the back I found a room with clothes with prices like I'd find in a slightly pricey thrift store. There are bargains to be had here!

I found a pair of Dansko slip-on shoes in good condition for only $4. Score!

The man working was very polite and friendly. He let me take a photo of the taxidermied bear!

This is a fun place to browse even if you don't end up buying anything.

First time visiting this shop, we were staying in Pagosa for a weeks vacation… so much to browse through! Staff was friendly. Kiddos also enjoyed it, they found some collectors cards. We purchased this ornament, this cool comics Book, and Croc charms.

What a cool store, they have all kinds of different things.. I went in for the crystals the collection is mesmerizing and the prices very fair.. Tom is so nice and helpful and even called the crystal vendor lady and followed up with me a day later to identify the white crystal, which is serpentine.. which helps heal emotional wounds.. exactly the medicine I needed it jumped into my hand haha.

Friendly service and a fun way to get some souvenirs that didn’t break the bank and maybe a little more sustainable with buying thrift and antique items. Very good prices on trinket and costume jewelry. Cheap pocket knives. Lots of variety to choose from.

A bit more of an antique and random findings place than a gift shop but I enjoyed looking around. I found a few crazy trinkets that I got and am overall happy with the place. Worth a visit!

This was our first stop in Colorado. I stopped in to browse while my family bivkered outside. This store was awesome and had a great deal of antiques as well as souvenirs. The owner is such a nice and friendly person and made us feel welcome in her store. We all ended up buying some really nice souvenirs for our family and fiends at home. I recommend to any travelers in this area to stop in and see this store.

San Juan Mercantile has a little bit of everything. We went here going to find something unique as a graduation gift, and it didn't disappoint! Make sure to stop in here if you're in Pagosa Springs.
