A really Great Place To bring your kids lots of FUN activities for children to stay busy throughout the entire year, especially summer. My kids Love it! Ms. Liz librarian is the sweetest soul she's always caring and Compassionate when it comes to the Library . A really Great place never had any problems so many good people working here.

I went for a specific task and luckily was able to complete it. It appears to be your typical small town library, not very big, but thank goodness it was quiet. Folks at the desk were very helpful. I'll go back and explore later.

Small but growing collection; and very helpful staff. There are major plans to expand the library. We (the county, the state, the support organizations) all really need to pitch in, to take the library to the next glorious stage.

Being new to Hollister and. a huge reader I couldn’t wait to check out books. The staff is so friendly and their website is so easy to navigate.

I learned about their new program where you can request up to 5 books per account if they don’t have it at their library and they will purchase it then send it directly to your home. They allow you to keep the book for 3 weeks before simply dropping it off in their outside drop off. Amazing!

I’m so excited to learn that they are now allowing you to go in person!

I love the free library and I'm so happy they opened on Saturdays again. For so long they were closed on the weekends and it was awful, because I work all week and it was so hard to make it in. They have a lovely selection and if they don't have in that library what you need, all you have to do is ask and they can get it from almost any library in like the whole state. You can even get books from educational institutions!
It's pretty much had the same staff since I first went here in 2006 and they've always been at least cordial, if not helpful. The only bummer is the limited parking in front (which has a 3 hour limit!!!) and the deep dip of the street. Sometimes I forget and my car whacks the sidewalk scraping the bottom of the door.
