The library is opened for business, masked required of course. However there is a 30 minute browsing limit so come prepared with your reading list. Friendly and knowledgeable staff as always.

Great staff, wonderful selection of books! My four year old loves going in and asking the children's section attendant for books about all sorts of things. They are handling the quarantine with respect, social distancing, and mask wearing. They are doing an amazing job! We are very grateful to have them here in our town!

This little library has a lot going for it. The staff is great! The building is lovely. They have far more resources than I expected, from a large catalog to excellent internet. They don’t let me bring my dogs in (which is totally understandable), but they’re willing to do an exchange on the front steps so I can return items and pick up the ones on hold. I really appreciate it!

Always open. That's the best thing about this library. When I first moved here they helped me a lot getting a job and stuff just by being available all the time

Nice and small library. But the power outlets in the computer room don't put out enough power, my laptop stayed at 80% for two hours, with a normal outlet it would stay charged. I used the power strip along the wall, they probably put 10 outlets on one circuit. And the computer room is very small.

A very nice library in a small mountain town. When I visit friends and family here, we enjoy going to the DVD section and picking out a few movies or TV shows to watch. I have not used the computers, but have browsed their book selection and it's quite good for a small town! I have donated a fair amount of hardback books to this library. Hopefully they are being put to good use!

Additionally, this library has free wifi that can be accessed both inside and a small distance outside of the library. It's pretty fast, and is a life-saver for someone who does not have phone signal or internet when visiting Salida.
