Ok, here's a little story...you may be bored by it by the first sentence because you don't know me... Anyway, I watched a really old Twilight Zone episode one time where this guy was sooo misanthropic. He hated his job and all he wanted to do in life was stay home and read. He didn't get along with his boss, fellow employees, etc. I think he may have been picked on as well. Anyway, he wore really thick coke bottle glasses and could not see without them. So, as the show goes, there's a catastrophic event where everyone is killed. He is dazed, confused, and shocked that everyone is gone. He stumbles around town to eventually see the town library still standing. He is so dang happy and starts grabbing and stacking up books to read. He is downright giddy that everyone is gone, but the books still stand unharmed. Then .....he trips, he flails about, glasses fall off, he can't see, everything is blury and he steps forward. You hear a crunch, and then you see he has crushed his glasses!

Soooo long story short. It made a huge impact on me, and as much as I like my digital books, I will always love the real deal in my hand and on my shelf. I will never take writers, libraries, and book stores for granted...or glasses either. 😆 lol

This store may be smaller than some, but it is a giant in the way that it has a bit of this and that for everyone. I support it completely. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back. 😉 📖 📕 📘 ❤️

This bookstore was recommended to me by their sister store and I am so glad I came in! Not only do they have books but so much more! I feel like every time I come in here I can discover something new! The staff are very helpful as well and helped my friend find a specific genre of book and gave 3 options to look at and choose from It's so nice to see businesses like this downtown! I still cherish a tee I bought there a while back, printed with headshots of all my favorite authors. If you love books, this is a must-visit spot—there’s something magical about it that every book lover will appreciate!

Great bookstore, good selection, bad experience that has put me off from ever coming in again.
I went in with another couple, we had a selection of books to purchase, when one of the staff went up to our friend and asked him to leave as he had a firearm on him. He was not causing a scene or trying to intimidate anyone. He was selecting some books for his niece. He is a veteran with an honorable discharge, active in the community to try to be the difference He wants to see, and helps folks no matter where he is at.
Personally I find this to be at odds with the sign in the window that says we accept everyone no matter what.
We didn't make a fuss, we put our books back and left. I had been in there many times and I carry, I've never been asked to leave. While we love shopping there i will find my books elsewhere from this point foreword.
I find it weird especially since the signs in the windows say that there will be no discrimination no matter what, everyone is welcome.

Best bookstore in boise. They're locally owned and give great recommendations. The artwork inside is super fun and they're always able to help you find any book you need, even if it's not in stock.

What an awesome bookstore. I took my 2 year old granddaughter to the kids book reading they do every Tuesday morning at Guru donuts (great donuts and people) at 10:30. They read a number of great books to all the kids. Afterwards, we walked down to visit the store. A number of the parents were there from the book reading with their children. The people there were so nice! We ended up buying a couple of books for our granddaughter and she was so happy. Whether you're looking for books for kids or for adults this is a place you don't want to miss out on. I highly recommend Rediscovered Books.

One of my favorite bookstores, especially for new books cuz sometimes I just can't wait. Nice layout and cute gifts. I love supporting local! I also love the owner's collection of quilts she uses to display books. Rediscovered also has an extensive book club display, so you can even find a book club to join. Great Store!

I can see why they were voted best bookshop in Idaho! I was so impressed with this store. I loved all of the staff favorite notes on all the bookshelves with their creative drawings. I asked about YA books and they pulled one of the staff members off the register so she could give me a bunch of amazing recommendations! 🥰
