BEWARE - My husband and I visited this shop for the first time on our trip to Ouray in October. Had a lovely chat with the owner, bought a shirt, went on our way. We have been back in Texas since that trip, but 7 months later in May I noticed a $14 charge on my credit card from this shop. I tried calling multiple times to get in touch with the owner but he has not gotten back to me. I am willing to believe that this was an honest mistake, but it does seem strange that there were 7 months between my visit to the store and the fraudulent charge. It seems like he saved my credit card number, waited a long time to charge it again, and then charged a smaller amount so as not to hopefully go unnoticed. Yes, I reported this to my credit card company, but that doesn't help warn any of you who shop there in the future. If you see him starting to write down your card number on paper when you go to checkout, don't let him.

Owner here is the nicest guy you will ever meet. Very generous and helpful finding particular items for camping and antique jewelry etc. He really cares about satisfaction. I had more fun shopping here than any retail store.

Best vintage shop I’ve been to in many years. Owner will help you find anything you’re interested in. From vintage camping, tools, maps, records, cassettes, clothing. Very impressed with his set up. I believe he’s closed in the winter.

Owner is a true local character who is a wealth of knowledge about the area. The store itself is hard to pin down. It’s just a little bit of everything in an interesting building. We picked up some CD’s for the drive in the mountains with limited cell service and got some good tips on where to park for the Perimeter Trail.
