I ordered the nachos and made sure to ask what goes on it. Of course, first thing they say is cheese. This is what I got. I went up and told them they didn't put nachos cheese on my nachos and they said no they put melted white cheese. How are these nachos without the nacho cheese? Why didn't they mention this when I asked what goes on them? I ended up buying a side of nachos cheese.

The cash register staff and carniceria staff are always super polite. The store is pretty clean. Usually well stocked. Today was one of the few times I have an issue. Not sure when the salsa bar began to close during the day but went in about 3pm today only to see that it was closed. Other staff seemed pretty confused as well. There was no sign with any sort of explanation or re open time. I asked the hot deli department and all they said was that is was closed because the girl was on her break? I asked if they knew when it would re open. I was told 10 minutes. I circled the store, did other shopping and returned about 20 minutes later, still not open. I stood there patiently for another 10 minutes, still not open. I decided I really couldn't wait any more to get chicken salad, crab ceviche and salsa anymore so I went to pay at the register for my other groceries. As I left the store after paying maybe about 3:50pm still not open. Even a hand written sign saying anything other than closed woud have been helpful so I didn't wait around hoping it would open while I was still there. Bad management.

Very sad deli area. 1. They need to shale their family fish meal so that it cooks evenly. 2. You need to allow enough time to get a crispy exterior. The customer service has really gone downhill. They used to be amazing. Livingston location is much better, but Merced needs a ton of help. Hope someone is reading these reviews.

Ordered trays for Christmas Eve. Had Verde, Pazole,Rice,Beans and a Dozen Tamales. My only issue was the Chicken Bones in the tamales. Very disappointed. Bones were in 4 out of the 12 tamales. Have never had this happen before. Out of convenience I bought everything there. If you aren't removing bones it needs to be disclosed.

I've been waiting 4 days now for them to credit back my EBT card. Still have heard nothing & they were supposed to contact me the next day. This is what happened - I shopped, got in line at the register, the cashier rang up my items I paid with my EBT card- pin accepted, then the register crashed. When it came back on, it wanted me to pay AGAIN.. Cashier said I should check my card to see if it took the payment, I checked & it was gone from my card. So, the manager comes over & says they can recharge me for my stuff cuz sometimes it looks like the payment went but it really didn't.. So, my food stamps are still gone & I ended up having to spend the rest of my EBT balance to buy a few of the items I planned to purchase because I didn't have enough to buy everything AGAIN & even tho my card showed they took my payment, they took my items back as well.. so instead of spending $70, I spent $120 & didn't even get everything I needed. 4 days later I'm still waiting for my $70 back & no one has contacted me at all. It's ridiculous, I'm homeless & have no food stamps left until they decide they want to give them back? I have no other means to get food at the moment.

I enjoy coming here for my lunch break. They have a decent menu of Hispanic dishes that are homemade and fresh. The store is clean and the employees are kind. The make great Aqua Frescas!! The also make family sized dinners that you can order in advance and pick up later for dinner time.
