This place is awesome! Family owned since the 70s and yes it is an older facility but you will not be able to tell by the rooms. They have been and are well kept up, and great mattresses. This is a 10 star facility if you compare it to other Quality or similar hotels. Breakfast was good, and the person working the night desk was extremely helpful with advice on visiting Bear Lake and RMNP without a timed entry. It is about a mile from the center of town so there is less Hussle and Bussle but still easily accessible. My wife and anyone I know that goes to RMNP or just to Estes will be staying here in the future. Don't hesitate to book a night or two.

Very clean hotel. Comfortable beds. Very spacious room (had a room with 2 queen beds). Extremely friendly staff. Could not have asked for a better stay. Exceeded expectations. 5 stars and 10/10 recommendation! Will definitely come back.

Comfy quiet room with a patio. Good location. We have to give a shout out to the amazing breakfast room attendant. She was extremely efficient. Unobtrusively cleaning and stocking continuously! The best breakfast experience yet! There are bike trails so easy to ride into downtown or anywhere else you want.

a great hotel. it is maintained impeccably. it may appear a little older, but you can see the owners have paid attention to every detail and kept up on things. the outside deck looked brand new. the paint was fresh, the landscape was beautiful. the layout of the 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our family. this is where you should stay if you are going to Estes Park. And the staff was very friendly and helpful

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The check in was smooth with the employee being extremely friendly. Our room (2 doubles) was clean and was huge. The parking was right outside the door and the drive to town was a few minutes tops. The shower was absolutely fantastic - it appears to have been updated - with fantastic water pressure and hot water. I'd definitely stay here again!

We are warmly greeted by a staff who is so attentive that they recognize us from one year to the next! The room is spacious, the mattress comfortable and the wheelchair-accessible room works perfectly. There is a roll-in shower, a toilet with one fixed grab rail, and level access throughout. There is a hydraulic lift chair for access to the swimming pool. | The hot breakfast is very nice, with eggs, perfect home fries, and a meat everyday. | The hotel's location offers lovely views in all directions from the parking lot, so I assume most all of the hotel rooms have nice views as well. Sited just a mile from town, with a stop right in front of the hotel for the free downtown shuttle, the location is excellent. It is a very pleasant stroll of about two or three tenths of a mile down to Lake Estes, and from there less than a mile walk along the Big Thompson River up into town. | We regularly come back to this hotel because of the one and friendly service from this family-owned and operated business.

We were in Estes Park for a family event and decided to arrive early. Given that our event was during the elk fest weekend, room bookings were scares, and prices were a little elevated. We booked in February, a full 8 months in advance of our October arrival.

The staff friendliness at this hotel is off the charts. The people at the desk, like Jeff, and in the breakfast area are very helpful, and the place exuberates honesty and hard work.

The breakfast is OK. Our first day, the eggs (looked like one eye), and the sausage (large patties) seemed to be under-cooked. The other two (2) mornings, the meat was bacon or sausage links, and scrambled eggs - these were cooked as expected. All other items accompanying the breakfast (waffles, toast, yogurt, coffee choices, cereal, muffins) were good.

Our room, 457, was comfortable. The bathroom area seemed a little tight to close the door. Also, the ceiling fan was used on medium because it was VERY noisy on high and would have kept us awake. Thus, it was left on medium. I forgot to mention this to the front desk during our stay and on check-out. Hopefully, the staff will see this review and fix it. I'm confident the staff would have addressed this concern at some point.

As noted below, parking for our room was nice and roomy.

There is an outdoor pool and jacuzzi on property as well as a fitness and business room. I did not use any of these and will not comment on these areas.

If given the opportunity to return, I probably would book again at this hotel. However, the price per day seemed a little steep for me.

Also, if you have any problem with your room, bring it up with the staff, and give them a chance to make it right.

The absolute best experience. We booked last minute late in the day due to traveling and checked in after 10 pm to the most hospitable staff. She explained everything we needed to know for our stay and even gave us some suggestions for site seeing in the area for the next day. The room was cozy and clean and super convenient to access due to parking assignments labeled by room number right next to your room. We will be back for hopefully a longer stay.
