My kids and I growing up in poverty went to the library when there was movie night with free popcorn and my youngest enjoys the hand puppets. I still go to make copy's or to use a hardline computer. They now have family history lessons. The staff is very professional and helpful in helping you on the computer or booking you in a private quiet study room. I love the new structure of the library with the glass elevator and counting and theater outside. One of the best places in Pueblo for adults and children. Thank you Main branch. The 4th floor conference and events center is first class. Best sound system I’ve heard at such events. Highly recommend.

This library is quite large, however it is a bit ridiculous to have just 4 computers on the second floor to sit at. I am aware that the genealogical floor has computers but those are used for other things. Having laptops is fine and all but there isn't really enough places to sit at and balance a laptop.

They are always understanding about items that are late. The staff is very attentive and helpful. I carry a backpack everywhere I go because it’s more comfortable and they treat me any different which is a stigma that I deal with almost all the time when I go shopping or into stores. I just feel comfortable there and can enjoy the library for what it is intended. Unfortunately, as a paying customer I don’t always feel like my business is valuable and when I do spend I feel rushed out or I am not able to use facilities unless I buy something right away. I guess that’s just how our society is now a days. Customer service can be rude and on their phones and don’t have to answer to supervisors or they just don’t care it’s a job to them and we are just dollar signs. But I guarantee when I have a good experience even just a decent one I make the time to give them my feedback because that’s how much it means to me.

My sister in law recently had a birthday party for her 1 year old son. The service we experienced was harsh and condescending. The one front lady didn’t want us to go into the room we payed for and booked because we were 15 minutes early. She also wouldn’t even open the door for us and said we can do it because she doesn’t want to be bothered. We brushed that off but it just got worse. Everytime we had to ask to use the bathroom they acted like we were their biggest inconvenience and told us to hurry. My husband went to the 3rd floor just to pee because every other bathroom was out of order and they called security on him. He was wearing his work uniform even! They rushed us out and were incredibly rude. NEVER HOST A BIRTHDAY HERE!

We went there to attend a private baby shower in one of the meeting rooms. My granddaughter had her emotional support pup with her in her lap and security came and made us leave. The pup was quiet and not running around. I will not go back to this library ever. This was the main library on Abriendo. My granddaughter suffered 3 skull fractures in May last year and suffers from high anxiety when around people. Her support animal was received after Christmas. He has been a blessing at calming her down.

Clean, well organized, lovely employees. The check out system is amazing and there’s so much help available. Acquisition requests are awesome and easy, and there are so many classes and activities to choose between.

I am really thankful for the folks on the third floor especially the Local history and geneology department fir helping me find my sisters birth place in 1975 in Pueblo. You folks are very knowlegeable and a valuable resource to the community.
