I have been a subscriber for over 10 yeslars but I cancelled my subscription today due to delivery issues. I haven't received a newspaper for 4 days and I've been on the phone with them each of those 4 days. Every day I have been promised that they would deliver that day's subscription and the day(s) before that weren't delivered. And I still have yet to see a newspaper. The lack of follow through is so frustrating. If you value your customers, you make it right.

I have been a subscriber to this paper for over 30 years. I can accept delivery issues. My wife called 3 times about our missing paper today. No paper. I called and when I started raise the issue I got disconnected. I called back and was told the call was dropped, I not that gullible, I got hung up on. The call went down hill from there. I seriously considering cancelling me subscription. I can my new from other sources. If I want a copy of yhe paper, I can get one from one of the stores around me.

Very poor business practices. I signed up and the guy who signed me up was told to run my card on the 7th. He ended up calling me non-stop. My card went through and I saw the charge on my bank statement then the guy showed up at my house at 9:00pm! I should have known then to cancel but figured I would give it a shot. Fast forward a couple months and I realize my card was being charged twice a month. So I called and told them and they said I was being charged for two separate months...no refund offered nothing. So I canceled. Its been canceled for 3 months. Recently, I have been getting calls from that guy again. Saying something about issues with my card. He calls late at night so I usually don't answer. I am getting the paper again out of nowhere. This is ridiculous and if I end up with charges on my card I am going to be irate.

If you have a problem with circulation you get an automated response. If you go to the office and have a problem they make a note and promise a call back. Don't hold your breath. They dictate what comics you read because they shop around for the cheapest, they don't care about the subscriber. Not to mention the TV guide. The print is so small you have to get your classes. But they save money on paper. You will need to wash your hands and table because the ink is cheap . The sat paper not worth having and of course you won't get a mon. paper because their employees religious beliefs are far more important than the subscriber. They claim to be a local paper .you can get all the local happenings with the East Idaho News app. And local News 8. And the Post Register won't print any of it. Know why ? They are lazy, it's no wonder they brag about having the largest news room, it's because they need a place for everyone to hangout. God forbid that someone gets off their butt's and actually gets out and reports the news . New subscribers be wary!!

A couple of months ago there was a kiosk set up at a grocery store in Blackfoot advertising the Bingham Chronicles insert in the choice of the Post Register or Idaho State Journal. It was advertised at $10/month if you signed up for autopay and I was specifically told I could cancel at any time. I was unsure that we would actually read the paper but I love the Bingham Chronicle so I thought I'd give it a shot. Unfortunately, the paper was read maybe 5 times and the rest of the time tossed without even being opened. So, 2 weeks ago I called the Post Register to cancel. They said no problem and I stopped getting the paper the next day. Today, I noticed a pending charge on my bank account for the Post Register. I called to check on it and was told that in the paperwork I signed, it stated it was a 90 day contract. First of all, I specifically asked that question when I signed up and was told I could cancel at any time but I did not read the paperwork I just signed where I was told to sign, so that was my mistake I guess. But if this had been explained when I called 2 weeks ago to cancel, I would have at least kept receiving the paper that I am paying for for another 30 days!!! The person I spoke with today was fairly rude. Won't be subscribing to the paper again!

Post Register had trouble recently with their computer and phone system. Over 400 subscriptions cancelled in error. Mine was on autopay. Could not get ahold of a human on the phone as my newspaper had not been delivered in over a week. Went to their office on Yellowstone and they credited me another week as compensation for my lost week of newspapers. Very helpful staff.

I would give minus stars if it were possible. Since January we have been having problems getting the Post Register to deliver our paper. EVERY MORNING I have to call and there’s about a 40% chance that our paper will actually be delivered. Yes, I know I can read online. But I despise the pop-up ads. I read more articles in the physical paper than when I have to read online. I spend all day in front of a computer screen. My eyes don’t need more damage from reading articles on my iPhone or iPad. I guess I will have to get my news elsewhere. It seems to me that with newspaper readership on the decline, the PR should do all it can to retain readers. You just lost another!!
