Visiting from California! My daughter is addicted to reading - what a joy! Had to pop in and buy some books to add to her wonderful collection. The prices are reasonable, and we were impressed with the variety and selections, I even bought a book and I always fall asleep when I read LOL
We love to shop at small mom and pop places and this place fits that description.

Love this place so much! I had walked to the bookstore it started raining and the gentleman let me stay until it cleared up. He also gave me a bag so my books didn't get damaged so 10/5 totally recommend

Poor Richard's Book Shoppe! Book Shoppe, not Shop. There's a difference. Stop by and you'll see what I mean. In THIS Shoppe, we all benefit from someone's labor of love. I bought an autographed book there, and was tickled with the fair price. AND my 4-year-old found two books he HAD to have. 🙂

The lady working was super nice. I went with my mother in law and brother in law. It's a very cute store and the prices aren't bad. They definitely have mostly older books. They put stickers on the covers which make it hard to peel off without ripping the cover

What a great little shop right in the heart of downtown Parker, CO. They have a large selection of used books, but also have a section for new books by local authors. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Update, August 21: great shop! Hours are different than posted though. I forgot my phone but will take a photo of the posted hours next time I visit. Because, I will be back. They have used and new books. Used section is obviously bigger. Great selections for adults and kids.
Parking close by. Steps to enter and aisles are probably wide enough for a small stroller or small wheelchair.

Wonderful neighborhood used bookstore, great selection, very friendly owners (husband and wife team). The books are fairly reasonably priced (half off listing price), and they have a nice book exchange/store credit system. I'll be coming back for sure.
