An institution of our community that I am proud to support. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and they always work hard to provide help with research and finding the right materials for the job (pretty crucial in my line of work). Support your libraries, everyone. They are an invaluable resource for people of all stripes, and Monument is one of the best.

I've been a patron for decades. My son is always able to get books using inter-library loans, if needed. PPLD has amazing programs and librarians.

First visit to my local Library branch in Monument. Prior to moving North, we've been fans of the nice Rockrimmon branch.. The Monument Library is a bit hard to find - it's not really visible from any major roads. But once we found it it was great to see a good-sized space overflowing with books and media resources. The best part on our first visit was the helpfulness of the staff we encountered. They smiled and were thoroughly friendly and professional 😊

I’ve lived in Monument for a long time, and have gone to this library for their Summer program, all their free activities, and, of course, free online and physical books. The staff is very kind (helping me when I didn’t know how to use the new checkout device) and welcoming as soon as you walk in. I have many great memories of this library, as they would let my Girl Scout Troop use the conference room, and I’ve never had a complaint going here. So I would recommend a visit here (or the Palmer Lake library) if you are looking for a local library to use.

We registered for Sensory Storytime in Monument Meeting Room at Monument Library, as part of PPL events. This was a fun no fuss event. Our son is 2 and wanders. That kid 1min if your lucky, but he had positive experience. Staff was kind and rolled with his personality. Thanks PPL, more folks should come.

Love, love, love.
I've been a patron of this library for almost two decades. When my kids were little we'd come and they'd give us duck food to feed the ducks. They have tons of free programs. Selection is not an issue because I do all my requests online. When my books come in -- quickly if there is no queue (with most books there is no queue) -- I get an email notification. I can find my books on the hold shelf... done. Then I get emails when they are due. I can renew online. EASY.
Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Always have been.
