This is a great library and has great employees. It is a smaller library, but they will requests items for you so that you don't have to drive into Colorado Springs. They are very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back!

We love Toddler Time!
The lady who leads Toddler Time does an amazing job💛

The rest of the staff, however will not greet you with a smile when you walk in, that is if they greet you at all. This library use to be a small time library. They prided themselves in greeting each patron that entered the library with a big smile and within a few visits would learn your name.
Unfortunatley this has changed over the past few years.

It's always a special day to come to the library. High Prairie is small, and can be a neighborhood gathering place. They have a nice collection which rotates frequently. If you want a specific book, your best chance to get it is through a transfer from one of the bigger libraries in town. HPL has a large video selection, audio books, magazines, a little children's library and a teen hangout. I almost always find something fun in their friends bookstore too. I love having a local library just a few minutes from my home.

Small library but still has a lot to offer. It's quiet and clean and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. They offer lots of different things for kids throughout the year. Check out their calendar online.

Our favorite library in the area. Small, but so homey and welcoming. Great programs for kids, a section of used books for purchase, and a lovely outdoor area. Staff is friendly and helpful (especially the children's director). I love the drive thru for picking up holds and returning books!

Very nice, clean, homey environment. Staff are always very helpful and there is a good selection of items for a smaller library. It is a favorite stopping point when we come into town.
