I recommend staying literally anywhere else in Manitou springs! Even a Motel 6 because at least they have employees and door keys!||The owner is running this on a shoestring budget. I think it's a one man show there is no front desk so they make you download an app just to check in and access your room.||The owner called (from an Texas phone number) 1 hour before our check in and said we need to sign the agreement before we can check in and that they had already gone home for the day at 3pm, we had never received an email though. The owner attempted to send it to my wife and I, we tried multiple phone numbers and emails and could not get anything. The owner said they couldn't do anything for us and would not give us access to our room even when we offered to provide cash or card directly. They insisted we cancel the reservation we made and make it again directly on their website. Very stressful to show up and find out you might not have a place to stay. The owner refused to tell us the booking ID they had which apparently differed from ours. We were eventually able to get a different booking ID from calling our booking agency and this let us in. The app was horrible and difficult to use and completely non-functional on the doors or for check out. We had to use the code to get in it felt very cheap, and there are no deadbolts on the rooms!||The actual rooms were fine and there were almost no other guests at the hotel. They had recently renovated but clearly on a budget corners were literally cut. The shower door was upside down, assembly instructions were left on the toilet, exposed wiring, and more! Save yourself some stress and don't go here!

Best place to stay in the Colorado Springs area. Clean and the hotel staff were nothing short of amazing. Super friendly and accommodating. Came down for a business trip not knowing the area and they were also super helpful with best places to visit and go to while staying. 100% recommend to stay here especially since the rates are better than most other places.

For the price, it can't be beat. Cute hotel rooms, next to a police station and super peaceful/safe. Walking distance to the arcade and historic area, beautiful creek view. Me and the missus come here for our anniversary every year ( 15 years in a row now) and they always treat us right, even give us the same room we spent our honeymoon ♡

There is no contingency plan when the motel's technology, that it relies on, does not work. We were not receiving any texts or emails from the hotel to get us into our room, and there is no staff onsite to help out. We were sitting in the parking lot of the motel having to scan QR codes off of the "office" door and downloading apps to try and get the access code for our room. After a bunch of back and forth with the owner their suggestion was to cancel our booking through hotels.com and just book through their website instead, which seems really scammy.
I think the most unfortunate part of this place is that without any staff working and the seemingly quick flip of the property, it really loses a lot of the charm and personality that makes Manitou Springs so loveable.

DO NOT STAY HERE. $140 for a dirty hotel room. The Inn is being renovated and there is no live person at the office to help with anything. We were given instructions to check-in via text message as well as if we needed anything to text that number. We arrived, we were the only occupants staying at the Inn so it was very eerie as well as telling. Upon arrival to the room, it was visibly dirty. Hair on the floor, hair in the shower, dead bugs throughout the room. After getting out of the shower, our feet became black with the filth from the floor. We contacted management via the number they gave us through the booking and left a message. No one ever got back to us and we were unable to resolve the situation of moving rooms because there was no one in the office to speak to. I was unable to do a dispute resolution on the credit card since the merchant wasn't responding. This seems like a big SCAM that Pikes Peak Inn is doing right now, renting dirty rooms and no one to help with anything we needed. Also, the 'renovations' they are having done are slapping paint all over everything and calling it renovated. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else!

I was just in town for one night to hike the incline. Usually when I go on these quick hiking trips I sleep in the car or I camp because I try to be as frugal as possible but for $65 I decided to stay in a hotel. This was well into December so I assume the no staff deal is an off season thing. No problem with me, they texted me the room number and the key code. I texted the number back at 8:30 pm asking if I could leave my truck in their parking lot the next morning while I hiked. They responded within minutes and said it was no problem which saved me a few bucks on parking and it’s a short walk to the shuttle bus from the hotel so it worked out great. Great location close to all the shops if you’re into that. My room was clean and comfortable and what I saw of the property was clean and looked fine to me. Chatted for a minute with who I assumed was the owner when I returned from hiking and he seemed like someone who took pride in his business. I’d stay here again.

Great customer service and great location. Walking distance to a bunch of cool breakfast spots and is right next to the police station. Very safe place.
