This place was very promising. Not many, if any stores like this one in the metropolitan area of Denver. The two slimmer people (donā€™t want to get anyones pronouns wrong) were very sweet, (the first time). Yesterday, my mom, sister and I rented a little haul so we can get more substantial things. The owner of the store Jennifer. Was so sweet, my sister said it was fake. I obviously, have no type of discernment like my sister. Yesterday, (July,26,2024). My family and I were racially profiled by a ā€œcharitable organizationā€ we love animals. So we liked her concept of making things dirt cheap to be charitable to animals. Instead this person treated us as if we were not human another staff member as well. The owner lied, got loud with us, and even threaten me. Please, please! I urge to donate straight to an reputable animal shelter/ rescue. Not this place. If youā€™re for equally for all humans. Iā€™m so disheartened by this all. We ā€œattemptedā€ to a have a civilized conversation. Where she told us, she lets people with mental illness volunteer and they need to take lunch breaks at certain times. We donā€™t know why that information was volunteered to us. As someone who suffers from with a great deal of mental illnesses, she made me overwhelmed, overstimulated and flat uncomfortable. When she yelled at me about me not being able to leave the store. She asked me if I wanted the items I brought to the counter. Mom and sister were coordinating outside with the lovely ppl who loaded up our Uhaul. She told me I could not leave I felt trapped and threatened. Although, there is merchandise outside. So when she said yiu canā€™t leave because none of the things in the truck were paid for yet. It was all very stressful and distasteful as a professional business owner. This person she be very ashamed, as she told me last week they probably will not be in business long because nobody likes to donate. I see why now. Youā€™re a mean dishonest, distasteful person. Who only is doing charity work for animals for recognition. I will be sharing this information on my other socials and to many influencers, in Boulder that I know have bigger audiences.
